It was the afternoon of a Tuesday in July, the sun beaming harshly outside. Heejung allowed the daylight to bore at her room through the glass door that introduces the space to the balcony overlooking the green plain beside their house. This has been her room for 3 years but she has not really stayed here for more than a month as she only visits here once in a while, then returns to London during semester breaks.

It was embedded in Heejung's code to maintain a neat place. There was never a time where she neglected her duties to her space, and that stuck with her until she returned home, and will live on with her for the rest of her life.

Boxes and luggages disclosed, desk occupied by her messy musical gears, cluttered floor and a just-made bed. That doesn't seem to reconcile with the first paragraph, does it? Well, spare this girl for she's still in the process of it.

Huffing out loudly, she gazed around her, preparing herself for the battle she's about to face, and exclaimed, "Let's do this!"

She began taking out everything from the luggage, the hangers in her closet waiting for it to be occupied. Then she designated her clothes whether to be folded or hanged. Only now did she realize that her clothes revolved in three colors: black, grey or brown. Even those from when she was in her late teens, these have been her go-to tones. Her reason being—they are the most compatible tones to match with anything. But then again, there weren't any contradiction to it.

"Maybe I should consider adding a little life to my clothes."

She had just finished hanging her clothes and was on her way to start folding her shirts on her bed when she heard a knock on the door that's opened.

"Breakfast is ready. Need help?" Said her mother.

"Great! I'm fine, Eomma."

Heejung placed the shirt she was folding on the empty space beside her, running her hand on her lap before striding towards Ayeong and clung on her forearm.

"Let's eat."

A delectable smell aired through the kitchen, drawing Heejung into it even more, anticipation hitting her empty stomach hard. Back in London, she's grown a habit of rarely eating breakfast and would instead suffice in caffeine. It's only when she's with her mom that she gets to eat a proper breakfast as Ayeong would not settle for a no.

"It smells good!"

When they entered the dining area, an impressed gasp came out of the 23-year-old girl and sniffed heavily on the aroma of the Carbonara served on the table. Her words earned a chuckle from her mother as they pulled a chair out for themselves before sitting down.

"Of course! It's your favorite, it has to be."

"There's a lot of cheese!" Heejung squealed in delight. "I just love this..."

They said their thanks for the food before finally relishing it, compliments to the chef emitting from the enjoyer being answered with a joyful laughter and a proud, relieved gratitude.
