"(Y/N), wake up."
The young girl's eyes slowly opened to see her younger sister jumping on her grand bed. "It's your birthday!" She squeaked, her thick British accent flowing perfectly. She heard her cream-colored kitten Butter yowl in response to the sudden noise as he stood up, shaking himself next to (Y/N). "Huh?" She rubbed her (E/C)-hinted eyelids, her vision blurred.
"(S/N)... What time is it?" She asked her younger sister, emotionless. "Um..." (S/N) was silent.
"I-I think I shall come back later," She giggled softly, running out the door back to her own room. (Y/N) giggled to herself, sprawling herself over the fresh, silk-sheeted bed. The sun seemed to be starting to rise just then, meaning it was extremely early.
So (Y/N) decided that a few more hours of sleep wouldn't hurt--
Wait... What day was it?
(Y/N) sat back up, squinting her eyes as she tried to remember. Oh. It was (birthday date).
(Y/N) groaned, folding her arms stubbornly as she plummeted back down on her bed. Can time not wait up, at least a while? She thought to herself.
She just decided to forget about it, straightening her nightgown as she laid back down, letting her dear sleep endulge her whole, swallowing her down the abyss of dreams. ~
