The trumpets blew at a steady pace, soon coming to a halt as the crowds by the rails cheered madly. The bright sun simply danced across the sky, pure joy embellishing out to all. It was such an unforgettable moment for every single person of London! A wedding to be remembered as the years happen to come and go, most surely.
A woman suddenly was helped out of a carriage by a raven haired butler, whom helped her pick up the ends of the dress as if to carry them down back onto the floor. Such a long, unimaginably long dress she happened to wear that very special day for all who happened to carry the last name known as (L/N).
But this (L/N) woman would no longer be known as (Y/N) (L/N), but as (Y/N) Phantomhive.
Coming right upon the doors of the grand church, they were opened by two guardsmen whom greeted her in such heartfelt ways. Yet another familiar crowd of faces washed (Y/N)'s mind fresh, bringing her back into the real world. Why, would you have asked? (Y/N) simply never thought she would have the guts or wills to experience such a day.
She had never fantasized of her own wedding day, nor of her love, even of her preferance in a male suitor. And she certainly did not expect to have an egoistical, smart-mouthed 'suitor' at such a time. The same suitor whom happened to be engaged to one of her dearest friends for nearly ten years. How preposterous does that sound? I'm sure it's quite... odd.
Walking on ahead, a smile graced her lovely features. The church itself fell silent, all who saw (Y/N) under a stance of her youthful and never-ending beauty. Familiar faces came down to her as she glanced upon all, the smell of roses in her hand entoxicating her with the most vivid, anxious and joyful emotions of them all.
Good luck, lady (S/N) had mouthed to her, a bright smile tugging at her lips. Next to her stood lord and lady (L/N), whom both sent smiles over her way as well. (Y/N) couldn't help but mouth a few words towards them, I love you all.
Her gaze then flicked onto the next crowd of familiar faces; Juliette, her personal maid and assistant, as well as a dear friend, Mey-Rin, Finnian, Bard, and Tanaka. Those clumsy, adorable little servants of her new and upcomimg household. How dearly (Y/N) happened to love the three! On every visit, she would happen treat them as young children, much to the Earl's jealousy.
Juliette tilted her head slightly, waving in a polite yet excited manner. (Y/N) smiled back at her and at the joyful servants who happened to notice her. On the far off left corner of the room, right by the far altar, there happened to be a luxurious and cozy little location where a dark, jewel-embroided throne rested.
And whom did that same throne belong to?
A smiling Queen Victoria herself. Oh, how her years had gotten the best of her. But she payed no attention to every wrinkle or crinkle in her old and wise facial expressions, but otherwise her cherished and open heart and soul. Such a wonderful old woman indeed, (Y/N) would say to herself.
More and more faces. So many that she could name! Names such as Prince Soma Asman Kadar from India, Sir Arthur Conyan Doyle, that strange Chinese man whom she had seen multiple times at Ciel's known as Mr. Lau, Earl Charles Grey, Earl Charles Phipps... And yet, in that same left where yet more faces and names lay, there were five that happened to catch her undivided attention.
Elizabeth Ethel Cordelia Midford, Maia Maria Smith, Edward Midford II, Mora Arlert, and Gabrielle Thornhill. Her dear friends. (Y/N) could simply watch as Elizabeth was being held back by Edward from giving her a bone-crushing hug. It was simply too funny to pass, so (Y/N) let out a quiet giggle.
Mora and Maia waved from their standing places, as Gabrielle smiled sweetly. Her scarlet red eyes were simply yet another one of her mysterious and beautiful factors. Ones that made (Y/N) want to learn more about her until they became friends and she discovered who Gabrielle truly was.
