~another betrayal and a kiss~"I still cannot believe you rescued him off of the streets. Nobles do not do such acts of kindness no longer," Ciel breathed shortly.
"Well... The (L/N) household is one of honor, kindness, and loyalty. We like to offer that to everybody and everyone we might come across."
Ciel sighed, looking down. "I just desire to know one thing.. I see you have no fear of the world below you. Why is that? How does that function in you?" He asked, flicking her forehead.
"I just..." She paused, looking down as she suddenly slumped on her chair; putting her face in her hands.
She suddenly took a deep breath.
"I really am."
Her response startled Ciel as his eyes widened barely.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean... I'm-I'm scared of the everyday world around me and you. About everything. Life is just like chess... Play one wrong move--"
"--And it's game over for you."
(Y/N) looked up at Ciel, who had interrupted her on her statement. He seemed to understand what she meant. "Tha-That's correct. I just... Everything could change in less than a whim. If any of us do not behave correctly or do not play by the rules, nor use enough strategy... Every single thing. Changes. The game of life simply changes direction. Likewise, it goes on..."
Her way of suddenly speaking startled him deeply. First time they met, she was deep and stoic. The time they began speaking, she became sweet and shy. But the minute they began talking about life, she became unpredictable and confused.
Is she all of these emotions put together, to create such an unique life-form of hers...? Must be.
Ciel suddenly grabbed her hand, from across the chess table. "Don't be afraid." He said stoickly.
(Y/N) looked back up at him, her eyes half-lidded. They were glinting with confusion and depression. She didn't understand.
"If you feel afraid... You must have no idea how I feel," He chuckled emotionlessly. "C-Ciel... I cannot comprehend you."
"You do not need to, (Y/N). Just..." He paused, beggining to lean over the table, sliding his hand as he grabbed her forearm.
"Do that again for me."
She thought she understood, beggining to lean slightly closer as he continued. "Chess; a game of life. One wrong move, and you're defeated as soon as possible..."
"Not that," He suddenly pulled away, leaving her hanging there, confused and beffudled. "What then..?" She asked silently.
"Be weak for me." He commanded with such authority, beggining to lean back in to her over the chess table. "O-Okay," She said softly, both their faces almost touching.
"I saw the way you... loved that kitten when you rescued him. I could feel it," Ciel said quietly, his breath tickling her lips. "It was so passionate. So wanting. So needy."
He paused, his straight lips turning into a devillious smirk. "I want you to love me like you love him."
Her eyes widened slightly at his sentence, the smirk affecting his soft, hushed tone into a husky, lustful one.
"Love me like you mean it."
He then pressed his cold lips on hers, moving passionetly and with such authority. Their lips molded perfectly, as if they were made for each other.
(Y/N) melted into Ciel's dominant kiss, putting her hand over his cheek as he extended his arms over to his waist from across the small chess table, trying to bring her closer.
When suddenly, the door was slammed open.
"(Y-"
Both's eyes widened as they didn't separate.
"O-Oh." ~
