~meeting you~Ciel's eyes, well, eye, didn't leave the young girl for not even a second. He let out a short, stagered breath.
What... Who is she?
Sebastian smirked deviously yet silently, watching his young master become mesmerized by the young lass.
He watched the young lass walking down the stairs, her smile dissolving as she stopped right next to her father. He was holding a champaigne glass, as he held it out, up high and above in a proud way.
"Thank you all for coming today to my eldest daughter's birthday. Today is the day she becomes an independent woman, and I would gladly like to thank the Queen for coming here herself!"
There in the crowd was the Queen, as everyone clapped wildly, and soon, he began speaking again. "And now, to (Y/N) (L/N)!"
Everyone raised their glasses alongside him, as he handed (Y/N) a glass of sparkling and gladly bubbling champaigne. She took it, raising it as she smiled at her father.
"Any words you'd like to say, darling?" (Y/N) looked down, and then back up.
"It is not every day you might have te chance to explore inside of you. I try to go ahead every chance I get. But life..." She took a pause, and noticed Ciel watching her. Her gaze shifted onto him as she spoke softly.
"Life is a game for all of us, and somebody's love or trust will be a prize. May you all enjoy the rest of the night, and have the best of your time!" Her smile faded as everyone then sipped their glasses.
Ciel's lips didn't even border his, as he didn't stop watching the girl. Was all that Sebastian said... true, about her?
Everyone soon started going again, the soft music begining to play as it did before.
(Y/N) walked down the stairs, as Sebastian stuck to Ciel and neither moved.
They both noticed she seemed to be making her way towards them, smirking playfully as she raised her hand to her hair, passing it through a small wave of undone locks.
"Good day, Earl Phantomhive," She said silently, smiling doubtfully. "Good day, Miss (L/N)." He said quietly as well.
"I seemed to notice you watching me from the distance. Is everything alright?" She smirked, sipping her drink and closing her eyes, dropping the smirk. Ciel had regained his composture, looking away. "Of course, miss. My butler has picked up a present for you on the way... Do you have any chess sets around?" He suddenly asked.
(Y/N) sighed, furrowing her eyebrows lightly, angered that the boy she found adorable didn't want to converse with her. Sadly, she knew Juliette was correct; she did want to socialize with some boy, after all.
"Yes. Um, follow me right this way..." She made her way back to the stairs, as both followed her to the library, which was all of the third floor. Once in there, Ciel immediatly made his way to the chess set.
But as he sat there, he suddenly began sneezing. "Ah, what...?" He said to himself, putting his hand over his mouth. (Y/N) suddenly gasped, giggling as she walked over next to Ciel.
"I-I apologize," She abroutply stated, kneelinng down on the floor, as she picked somethig up.
The thing meowed to Ciel and Sebastian's surprise. She showed it from a far distance, smiling in the dark as she hugged the little kitten. Sebastian suddenly gasped, walking to her as he watched the little kitten. Surprisingly, he noticed the young lass's height was one to be easily noticed, standing at (h).
"Is that a kitten?" He asked, intrigued by the mewling thing. "Yes. His name is Butter. We adopted him off the streets just merely a year ago. Would you like to hold him?" She offered, as Ciel scoffed silently as he rolled his eyes, somewhat jealous.
Sebastian nodded slowly. "It would be an honor!" He picked up the kitten, as it purred in pleasure, relaxing under his touch. He held him closely, caressing behind his adorable, slightly droopy ears. "He's so... interesting. So admirable." Sebastian said silently, his cheeks flushing red.
The cat fell asleep, purring and slightly stirring on him. Ciel scoffed once again, beggining on his chess game.
"Sebastian, would you like to take care of him for a while?" (Y/N) suddenly asked, a femenine side growing on her all of a sudden. "Again, I would love to..." He said dully, but meant it with his 'soul.'
He took the kitten in his arms, away back to the girl's room so he could put him to sleep.
(Y/N) suddenly sat next to Ciel, on her knees as she watched his every move, controlling his pieces as he played against his immaginary opponent.
"Do you... Want to play?" She asked shyly.
Please say yes... ~
