Dear self
I've hated you, broke you, failed you.
Countless times I had put everyone's need before yours. I chose pleasure above your peace.
I've drained you, avoided you, locked you up in a cage with thousand locks and pretended to be someone else for so long.
For so long I've though you were weird, ugly, filled with flaws and not worthy of even a single glance .
I kept trying to change you into something you were not - into something people thought you should be.
I'm sorry for never appreciating your uniqueness under that awkward smile.
I'm sorry it told me to so long to notice how amazing you are.
Dear Self,
I promise to put you first before everything else to love you more than anyone.
