I pant as I run towards the school, that was crawling with police officers.

"Cain!"I scream, seeing him with Mr. Bellini and a few other teacher.

"Mommy!"Cain says, running into my arms.

"Oh my god! I got so scared! Oh my baby oh my goodness!"I whimper, hearing Ace wheezing as he ran to catch up with me.

Mr. Bellini kneels down with me.

"Ma'am, if you weren't briefed on the situation, apparently several children took their own lives today."He says softly.

"Oh my goodness! You didn't see any of that did you! Oh my poor baby!"I whimper as Cain hugs me tightly.

"Human lungs. Human legs."Ace groans as he approaches us.

Mr. Bellini smiles as he hears Ace's voice.

"Oh, pardon me I wouldn't have spoken to her knowing you were here as well, Mr. Ace."Johnathan says.

"What?"Ace breathes.

"Well I treat everything respectfully sir, I wouldn't want you thinking I was imposing on your relationship."

Both mine, and Ace's eyes widen.

"Relationship?"Ace asks, playing dumb.

"Relationship, mommy?"Cain says, looking up.

Johnathan covers his mouth.

"Forgive me, I had no idea you g Cain was unaware."he says quietly.

"But mommy, isn't Ace my uncle?"Cain says.

"Yes, yes he is. That's the only relationship that we should be talking about. He's just your uncle, nothing more."I say.

I could see the hurt in Ace's face as he looks away from us.
...

"My deepest apologies."he says, offering Ace a handshake.

Ace visibly rolls his eyes, and Johnathan chuckles and clears his throat.

"I'm not fully blind yet, sir."

"What's important is that Cain is safe. "Alice says, before tension rises.

"I don't like you."Ace says to Johnathan, making Johnathan chuckle.

"Why ever not, Mr. Ace?"Johnathan asks as Ace waves a bee out of his face.

Then, Johnathan looks down a bit, to where you could see his eyes beneath his glasses.

Ace's eyes widen as he sees a sly set of reptilian eyes beneath the thick glasses.

"Jealous?"

He bounces his eyebrows twice.

Ace gasps, and just as he does, the bee flies straight into his mouth. His hands come to his throat as he starts choking, earning the attention of Alice.

"Ace? Ace?!"she says, removing her attention from Cain as Ace falls to his knees.

"Cain what on earth his happening?"Johnathan asks with an oblivious smile.

"My uncle is choking!"Cain says before running and putting his full force into tackling his uncle in the stomach.

Ace spits up the bee but still wheezes, as he had been stung on the throat from inside.

Ants instantly begin tearing apart the bee from Ace's throat and Johnathan watches with amusement as Ace becomes surrounded with paramedics.

....

Cain watches as his uncle is wheeled into the ambulance.

"Baby, do you want to come with us to the hospital?"Alice asks as she cups his cheeks.

I'm tired, mommy."Cain says, rubbing his eyes.

"Okay, I'll take you home."She says.

"Ma'am, if you don't mind I'll have him home. My driver can make two stops."Johnathan says.

"What would we do without you Mr. B, honestly."Alice chuckles as Cain grips Johnathan's hand.

"One less entomologist, am I right."he says, motioning to Cain and making Alice give off a stressed chuckle.

"I can assure you that I will in no way harm young Cain here. You have my word."Johnathan says.

She gives a worried glance to Cain, who then nods, and then let's off a soft sigh.

"I'll be there in an hour, I promise."she says before taking off towards the ambulance.

"Of course."Johnathan smiles before looking down at Cain.

"Ready to have some real fun?"

Cain and Johnathan slowly approaching Cain's house. Johnathan smiles.

"Oh yes, this will do nicely."

Johnathan huffs as he lifts the rug from the center of Cain's room.

"You have a lovely room here, master."Johnathan says, tossing the rug over and then reaching into his pocket.

"Thank you. All these haunted things are from my uncle's trips, he always brings me one back."Cain says, admiring his spooky things shelf.

"That's nice and all, but he'll surely have to be removed for your father to be here."

This makes Cain turn around.

"What? No. I love my Uncle."Cain says as Johnathan finds red chalk pen in his pocket.

"Well, if you want your father and mother to be together, you'll have to remove Ace."

"But he's just my uncle."Cain says.

"He's fucking your mum, Cain."Johnathan says as he begins drawing a symbol on the floor.

"I don't know what that means."Cain shrugs.

"It's fine. Leave the uncle to me, I'll get rid of him."Johnathan huffs.

"My uncle isn't going anywhere!"Cain says, putting his foot down.

"Fine. Alright, you're the master here. I'll simply turn him back into a demon."he says.

"A demon?"Cain questions.

Johnathan looks up and then takes off his glasses, pulling down the bottom lip of his right eye and showing Cain his reptilian eyes.

"Like me."

Cain nods.

"Good."he says.

Johnathan chuckles as he continues drawing the symbol.

"You're quite the negotiator, Cain."
