"DUCK.."
y/n raised her brow, "a duck ? at this place ?" she almost giggled at todoroki's naivety, "i don't think this place has ducks, sho.." he furrowed his brows, looking past her, and then pushing her out of the way, "no, duck!" he yelled out. dabi. the blue flames were unmistakable. she got up quickly, shaking, nervous, and confused.
"y/n, get out of here, run as far as you can!" the young man shouted, glaring at dabi. she didn't budge though. the least she could do, is give him a helping hand. l/n was the cause of this. she was one of the traitors.
the h/c haired girl grabbed onto shotos hand, bolting for the woods. it was difficult to run in such a tight, formal dress. she was glad she had chosen to wear sneakers though. dabi didn't bother chasing them. the fire he would set to the trees would draw them out.
"are you okay ? can you run in that dress ?" before she could even answer, todoroki picked her up and carried her bride style. "what was it that you wanted to tell me ?" he asked, smiling so warmly at her, as if there wasn't a villain attack at the moment. "shoto..listen, this is a bit difficult to get off my chest."
how do you tell your crush you betrayed them..?
the half and half boy only smiled more, coming to a halt and setting his classmate down behind a tree, far from the threat. he kneeled beside her. "i think i know what you're going to say, y/n.." he flushed, averting his eyes for a second.
he looked back up at her, "..i feel the same way."
no, no, no.. now she absolutely couldn't tell him she was the villain.
"that's so cute." pitched in a voice, shigaraki, from the earpiece. no. it wasn't the earpiece. it was him, there, now. l/n looked up timidly, ashamed, as shigaraki stepped out of the shadows. "what a shame though." he chuckled.
todoroki got into a fighting stance. ready to attack at any given moment. "calm down lover boy" he started, "i'm with y/n. my helping hand, right l/n..? tell him."
shoto turned back down to look at you, quickly dismissing shigaraki's statement. "y/n would never." he hissed out. she simply sat there in silence. "..shoto.." he turned back to look at her, eyes almost watery. "you would never betray us, right, y/n ?" the girl shook her head slowly.
"i'm sorry, shoto.." whispering so low, yet loud enough for him to hear. he could barely move. shigaraki took this as an opportunity to punt him look a football.
todoroki knocked out.

shoto opened his eyes slowly, taking in his surroundings. a hospital. at least, that's what it seemed like. the last thing he remembered was y/n confessing to being a traitor. right..y/n.
he wrinkled his nose at the thought of the u.a student. at the thought of a sorry excuse of a future hero. at the thought of you..
a knock interrupted his negative thoughts, he let out a weak, "come in.."
to his shocking dismay though, it wasn't the girl who had ripped out his heart and completely stomped on it.. it was his classmates. every single one of then except for her, and denki.
"..where's y/n..?" he chocked out. they all looked at each other with sorry eyes, ochako finally speaking up. "..well, no one knows where she is, actually."
great. now he couldn't even have the opportunity to confront her because she was a coward.
he asked them if they had found the other traitor, all the students nodding, all disappointed and hurt.
"how long have i been out for..?" he asked, a little scared years had passed by. "just two weeks" izuku replied, trying his best to make "two weeks" sound like nothing.
while y/n's old friends chatted about in the hospital, she laid depressingly on the couch, at the hideout with the other villains.
maybe i deserve this.. she thought. maybe i didn't deserve shoto..i thought i was protecting him, but i just ended up hurting him..
she sighed out, getting up as she winced at her injuries. maybe she deserved it.
afterall...she was a traitor.
