which meant that she had to find the past traitor soon, and she had to help the league infiltrate the ball, and both of those things were going to be a pain in the ass.
y/n sighed as she replied to dabi's insults towards toga, irked, unaware that her friends were calling for her. "y/n..? y/n.. Y/N!!!" she finally snapped out of it and looked up, "YEAH! i'm here yes what's wrong ?"
her friends looked at each other rather worriedly, then back at her. "is the ball stressing you out..? it has been a rather rough year, and you said you would confess to todoroki soon as well.." mina explained, watching as l/n poke her food.
she shook her head, letting out an exasperated sigh again, "it's just finals..i'll confess to him soon though ! i have a plan for tomorrow night, at the ball." she smirked, crossing her arms over her chest.
her friends smiled warmly at her, "well, we're glad you do..i hope it goes well !" ochako exclaimed. "and even if it doesn't, well be there for you !" the brunette cheered.

shigaraki went over the plan one last time at the hideout, explaining everything as detailed as he could. "and then, and only then, do you give the sign to break in. got it ?" y/n rolled her eyes, nodding again for fifth billion time.
shigaraki turned to look back at her, "do you understand ?" l/n nodded one last time, repeating the last steps to him to assure him.
the masquerade was already stressful enough for her considering it was going to be her confession day, but the fact she had to help the league in order to protect todoroki and her family, had her out of it.
she turned to look at them one last time before leaving the hideout, "i'll get you guys in..just keep your end of the deal."
