Chapter 13: Did We Just Survived the Apocalypse?

I witnessed something that reminded me when I reunited with Gwinam. Onjo hugged her dad while crying. "Come on kids." We left the basketball court when Soju gave us the all clear.

"What took you so long?" Onjo asked her dad while playfully hitting his shoulder. "Sorry it took me a while to get here, the soldiers wouldn't let me leave the quarantine camp." Soju explained to us.

"Cheongsan, are you ok?" Suhyeok asked his boyfriend since he saw him looking nervous. "We have to go now." Cheongsan told us as he heard the zombies running in our direction.

"Come on kids, follow me." We followed Soju to the tennis court and Hyoryung fell again. Seriously, did Casper the friendly ghost trip her or something. Daesu helped her and kept on running. We all made it out of the tennis court giving Gwinam the chance to close the gate and lock it. The reason why Gwinam locked the gate and not Soju is because we don't want to risk him getting bit when he just reunited with Onjo.

"Follow me to the construction site so we can head towards Yangdong. I tried up the yellow ribbons on the trees so it could lead us to the camp." We all nod to Soju's words as we ran to the now abandoned construction site.

We are on the fourth floor outside sitting on the platinum catching our breaths. I looked at Gyeongsu who was looking at his stomach. I wrapped my arm around his shoulder and he put his head on my shoulder.

"I love you so much Han Gyeongsu." I told him and he is doing his usual adorable smile. "I love you too Yoon Daehyun." I kissed his forehead until I heard "YOON DAEHYUN!"

"Oh my god is she ever going to die?" Daesu asked and then there was silence again. "Are you sure Eunji is here, cuz I don't hear a thing?" Isak asked us and she is right, I don't hear a thing. Then we see curtains moving and a crazy Eunji.

"I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU YOON DAEHYUN!" God she looks like a serial killer. Gwinam tried to push her, but she punched him in the stomach. Ouch. I tried to punch her but she grabbed my arm and twisted it so much it hurts like hell.

"Eunji, please don't do this." Mrs.Park begged Eunji not to hurt me since she cares about the both of us.

"Why do you care about him? You never cared about me and always sided with Gwinam. NOT ONCE I FELT SAFE WHEN I AM AT THIS GOD DAMN SCHOOL!" Eunji explained in a frustrating way. "Say good bye to Yoon Daehyun." Before Eunji did anything, Gyeongsu interrupted her.

"Eunji, please don't do this to him. He did everything he could to protect you and Chelsoo. He begged Gwinam to stop hurting you two and it worked. He is the father of our baby. Do you really want to kill the father of our unborn child." Gyeongsu's speech made Eunji think a lot and distracted when Namra came out from the other side of the window and pushed her.

I went to Gyeongsu and hugged him. It is an emotional moment since I literally was almost murdered by Eunji.

"Guys, do you hear that?" Namra asked us and we shook our heads no, while Gwinam and Cheongsan nod their heads.

"Attention all Hyosan residents, we are bombing the areas that have been affected by the virus, including Hyosan High School." We were shocked with the information Namra just told us.

"We have to get out of here right now." I told everyone and we left the construction site.

We made it to the forest and saw the ribbons tied up on the trees that Soju was talking about.

Then we heard multiple explosions and we took cover once we saw sharp objects heading towards our direction. We all got up to see Daesu having a huge cut on his leg.

We diyed a bandage so we can cover up the cut. Suhyeok helped him up and stayed by his side since Daesu is limping.

We made it to Yangdong when Gwinam told us to stop. "Guys, there are zombies near by." He informed us and we groaned. "How many?" I asked him and he started counting. That was until he got interrupted by the zombies growling nearby.

We grabbed shovels to use as weapons and fought the zombies for the millionth time. Namra, Cheongsan, and Gwinam we're snapping the zombie's neck until we heard a scream.

I turned around to see Wujin holding the side of his neck making me realize that he got bit. I ran to him getting on my knees while praying in my head Joonyeong does not see this.

"Wujin, hey remember what Jinsu told us. Don't think about your fears. Think about all of the wonderful memories you made with your sister, your friends, and your boyfriend." I told Wujin since I didn't want him to die. Thank god it worked and Hari helped her baby brother up.

"You guys ok there?" Mrs.Park asked us since she saw the commotion. "Yeah we're fine. I got bit, but other than that I am fine." Wujin told her and we saw Joonyeong shaking. Thankfully Jinsu told him that Wujin isn't going to turn and the cutest couple are hugging.

A few minutes later we continued our journey and finally made it to the camp. We put our hands up and the soldiers made their way towards us.

We are now in the room where a female soldier is asking us some questions while I asked her a question I've been buying to ask since I am still pissed off for what they did.
