It's been 2 weeks since I lost my baby. Its the end of the school year and I was able to graduate the 8th grade.
My family is still the same. Nothing really changed, just my moms attitude.
"Where's Nevada?" My mom asked George
"Why do I care?" George replied
He hasn't been home for about a week. I heard he went on another "business" trip
"I'm right here, I was brushing my teeth" I said to my mom

When we were at the breakfast table mom looked like she hasn't slept for days.
"Okay guys, Me and your dad are going to Las Vegas for the summer" My mom said
"Oh that sound like fun. We're gonna stay home alone" I asked
"Nope. you guys will go to your grandmothers" My mom replied
Georgia and I stared at each other in disgust

When I was in my room watching tv, George came in with a glass of wine.
"What do you want!" I asked him
"Well. I've been drinking this win bottle for a while now and I feel a bit wo-" George said falling on the floor. I didn't catch him,he wouldn't have caught me either. He was walking around my room drunk. He could barley see where he was going. He fell on top of me on my bed. I tried to push him off, but he was so heavy. Them my mom walked in

"What is going on in here?" She asked. I looked guilty, I don't know why though because I did nothing wrong.
"Your daughter is doing it again Nevaeh! A year older and her hormones are kicking in" George said. as if he could have sounded any stupider
"Mom I'm not doing anything! He fell on me because he is drunk and I was getting him off" I said to her
"Enough is enough Nevada. Maybe your father is right, maybe you don't belong here in our family. You've did it once, I forgave you. You doing it again You will not be forgiven" She replied
Was she nuts! I'm her daughter she's supposed to forgive me whenever I do crazy things (even though I didn't do anything)
"I think you should do it Nevaeh! It's either me or her" George said
He wanted my mom to pick between her child the came out of her or a man that put a ring on it.
"What's going on?" Georgia asked coming inside the room.
"Pack your things Nevada you have to leave." my mom said
Was she drunk too? Or was she kicking her underaged daughter out of her house.
"Mom please! I didn't do anything you have to believe me" I said pleading
George was tapping his feet and looking at his watch. that made my mom want to kick me out even faster. she picked a man over me..

A couple hours later

"Your really leaving" Georgia asked me
"I don't know why she's doing this. What have I done to her, or to deserve this?" I said crying
"Nevada you have to tell her the truth. Its the only way she will understand you" Georgia said
"I can't! If dad leaves her she has nothing. She wouldn't be able to take care if you Georgia. I'm doing this for you. Not for her or for him. You" I said while packing my things

When my mom and George were talking downstairs I saw Georgia spying on them. I hid by a lamp watching Georgia tearing up as she sees George hit my mom
"Take her out of this house Nevaeh! Or I'll be the one leaving. And if I leave you will have nothing!" George said to my mom.
I tipped toed to Georgia
"I told you. I'm doing this for you, so you guys do have something" I whispered to Georgia
She started crying, I wrapped my arms around her to covert her.

The next day in the morning my mom woke me up at 4:00am just to tell me to pack my things. It was so cruel, but I was glad I was leaving the house away from George!
She went back to bed and came to my room again at 5:20 am.
"I have a taxi waiting for you outside" she said
She felt no sympathy that she was kicking me (her own daughter, 15 years old) out of her house.
Georgia and George came out of their rooms. Georgia gave me the most warm and biggest hug.
"I don't know where your going but I will miss you with my heart and soul" Georgia said. I started to crack up but at the same time cry. I looked around the house and said goodbye to my room. Was this really happening? Was I really going to let this happen? I don't even know where the taxi could be taking me.
"All your things are in the taxi" my mom said. Again she felt no sympathy.
George was smiling while holding Georgia. He only liked her because their names were the same. I looked at my little sister And blew her a kiss, while she was whipping her tears. I looked at my mom in a way that she would know that what she was doing was wrong. She couldn't stand the fact that I was right, so she looked away. I couldn't even look at George, for this was once again all his fault.

I sat in the taxi and prayed before the man moved the vehicle.
"Our father in heaven, Thank you for forgiving our sins and watching over us today. Father as you have seen what my mother has done. Lord I pray that you watch over my little sister Georgia and protect her in that house. Father lord protect me, for I don't know where my mother is sending me. Amen" I prayed

"Umm excuse me sir where Am I going?" I asked the driver
"I'm taking you to the air port. where you will be flying to Pennsylvania to live with your Godmother" the driver said.
"Well.. wish me luck" I said to him
