Weeks passed inside of Hinata's home, hardly ever leaving it. Food got regularly replenished by other people who lived in the neighborhood, as they would drop off food every week. That was apparently a profession that people had these days, but it made sense. Komaeda enjoyed it, however. As strange as it was from regular life, it still felt regular anyway. As regular as it could be right now. And indeed, everything *was* getting better outside. Thanks to daily news stations that the three watched, they were able to learn that the red skies were starting to slightly clear up. The red wasn't as dark as it used to be anymore, and clouds were beginning to clear. And on top of all that? Broken cities were beginning to be rebuilt.
And probably the cherry on top to all this was one thing; two out of the fourteen Remnants of Despair were find and caught. Name wise, they were Mikan and Ultimate Imposter. They were taken by the Future Foundation, but it was rumored to be an odd capting becuse of how it was only five members that participated in these captures. This made it seem like it was an intentionally private sort of project, and that made the cloudette almost fearful. What were they planning to exactly do? Of course the FF wanted them dead, but in that case wouldn't they just find them and then instantly kill them? There was no need to bring them in if it was just to murder them, so that left room for lots of possibilities.
They were absolutely looking for the rest of them, too. They weren't just going to leave it at two, especially when one of those two was one of the less malicious ones. The Ultimate Imposter wasn't doing so much these days, just lying and changing their identity; the exact same as what they'd been doing back in Hope's Peak. So this wasn't very selective. They were certainly going to find the others and take them in as well, and that'd also mean that Nagito was being looked out for. It sent a shiver down his spine to just think about that happening.
"Nagito? Are you okay?" A voice hummed out nearby, and the cloudette jolted. He glanced back at the source of the voice, which was obviously Hajime. He was the only one that called the albino Nagito in that house, as Monaca was still stuck to sometimes calling him 'dad' on accident or still referring to him as Servant. The brunette no longer called him by his last name as they'd just grown that comfortable with each other, and Nagito did the same for the brunette at this point.
He chuckled nervously, tugging on the collar of his shirt. "I was just thinking about what was on the news yesterday," he admitted, bringing his legs up to his chest, "they're probably looking for me just as much as the others. What if they find me?" He stuttered just a tad, shivering once again to the thought. The brown haired boy's expression suddenly twisted to a concerned one. He sat down next to the cloudette on the couch, settling his hand on his quivering shoulder. "I was a bit worried about that too when I heard of it. They're definitely looking for you, but I don't think they'll be able to find you," he assured, "they only know of you as the Towa City Remnant, right? That's where they're probably looking, but there's no evidence that you came here. My car does not leave marks on the road so they have no trace of you."
That made a bit of sense, but there were still some holes in that whole statement. They definitely would spread out beyond Towa City when they found out that he was no longer there, not even a deceased body there. And this was the FF, they were quite high in terms of profession so surely they could acheive whatever they wanted. Though, he kept that to himself and simply nodded. "Makes sense," he commented, smiling weakly. The brown haired one then stood up, walking over to the TV and turning it on. "Anyways, speaking of the news; it should be on right now, maybe they found someone else out of the Despairs," he hummed, switching it over to that same old channel. The station that they worked at for this channel was incredibly broken and sad to look at, but almost everything looked like that at this point. And honestly? They got it easier than most.
Indeed, right now was the exact time that it began, and they immediately got on to talking about things that'd been happening. Of course, as per they mentioned how everything was beginning to get better and how some things were getting rebuilt. Everything was becoming brighter. After all that news, they moved on to a different sort of topic.
