Walking on train tracks what felt like hours but they all had enough energy to keep going Michonne and Carl walking on one trail each balancing to see who can stay on the longest, unfortunately Aurora had been the first to fall 2 minutes in for the rest of the time Aurora walked by the side of rick who was just planning on what would happen next "if this didn't happen what would you be doing?" Aurora asked breaking the silence, rick looked down at the girl and just chuckled "beating some asshole and locking him up I presume." He looked in front of him smiling Aurora chuckled and got serious "This is probably weird but..you won't die on me right..." rick was caught off guard by the sudden question but everything Aurora experienced till this point all she has know is death. "I can't promise I won't...but I'll try just for you." Slightly shoving Auroras should before turning back and seeing how far back Carl and Michonne had gotten, "think we can speed this up" Rick smiled at the two being very focused on the trail , "we could possibly- CARL" Michonne yelled trying to distract Carl only for her to fall off instead ultimately losing. Carl turning to Michonne and held his hand out "pay up" he smiled proud of himself, Michonne rolled her eyes and rick laughed as she pulled out a chocolate bar and handed it to Carl
He was so proud of himself the smile he had caused Aurora to smile at him, Carl tried to offer some to Aurora but in reality she wasn't really a chocolate fan so instead he shared while Michonne and rick .

They had gotten tired at this point and began to set a fire and eat  after that again they began to walk but in the woods, Aurora had fallen back behind as they all walked ahead, They look like a family...a real family. Something aurora wouldn't feel again she felt like she was the gray sheep of the group she was scared. Scared she would fit in and would be left to die. Aurora had finally snapped from her thoughts when she heard a walked quickly raising her gun only to see ahead of her Michonne pulled her katana and killed It. They probably wouldn't even notice if she left she thought to herself until Rick turned around and told her to hurry, Carl ran up to her grabbing her hand and running back to the adults together, Aurora smiled all the bad thought faded away they always did when Carl was around he was cranky and stubborn at times but when it wasn't a terrible moment he was the sweetest and funniest person she knew. Everyone watched as rick tried to teach the two kids how to catch some food, the two kids looked at each other until it was interrupted by a voice..a man screaming for help only causing both Carl and Aurora to stand quickly and run towards the voice, aurora fell behind Carl her memory was getting hazy it was like she was reliving a memory her mom yelling for Tun as she was eaten away as Aurora ran for her life by the time they went to the edge and Carl's gun pointed at about 20 walkers chasing a man, Rick grabbed both her and Carl. They watched in terror as the man's face was getting ripped off Aurora quickly turned and launched herself at Carl's chest hiding from the man but the screams couldn't be drowned out the screams Carl hugging her as she began to shake and breath heavily, suddenly Carl grabbed her by the arm and began to run, Apparently a few walkers saw them from behind a tree and ran towards the train tracks again until they saw more walkers In front of them Rick ran towards one and killed it as Aurora stabbed one in the head but got dragged out by Carl as more walkers kept appearing , they had finally run away to find a car and making a fire beside it, it was dark now, aurora was In A Car by their fire, suddenly she hear rustling outside only for carl to open the door making her raise her gun."Sorry, I thought you were a walker."

"It's ok" he said calmly getting in and sitting beside her "are you ok though..." It took a few minutes for her to speak she didn't want to seem weak. "I'm fine i just panicked" the memories of her mothers death were coming back the thoughts she had before about just saving her in instead of running guilt her. "me too" said carl catching her off guard as carl hates to admit when he's scared. aurora didn't knw hoe to respond but as she opened her mouth rick called out for carl to help them put things away and he did just that not before patting Auroras should telling her everything will be okay. Aurora was now alone again to be left with her thoughts. Not a lot of time passed by when aurora hear rick screaming her curiosity made her walk outside to see what had happened only to see carl being pinned down by a man and the other holding Michonne down as well as rick, not even a step in and someone had grabbed her leg slamming her down to the floor shoulder first, her shoulder was screaming in pain and in agony a man had gotten on top of her with a distasteful look only making her uneasy. As she fell the guy looking like he was in his 40s had already grabbed her gun and thrown it across the field, Auroras mind was blank too many thoughts not a lot of ways to get out all she could hear was carl screaming her name as he saw the whole thing but now covered by the car he didn't know hat was going on.

" i thought all the pretty girls died? what are you 18" he said in a disgusting voice as he already knew the answer but of course Aurora didn't know when to quit talking " I'm 15 you old bitch" she screamed as she tried kicking him away not even moving an inch " i like them young.." is al he said before grabbing her neck with such force she instantly began gasping for air, her eyes watered quickly only letting out the name "rick" in small gasps of air she had left, she didn't want to die not now its too early. she began kicking and moving violently as her last remanding breaths were coming. it all stopped when an arrow out of no where was between the mans head dropping dead on the floor. Aurora quickly sat up franticly gasping for air and coughing none stop. Carl and rick ran to her aid carl hugging her back in small sobs. there was another man there he had longish hair and looked like he never showered . He hugged rick and for aurora that was enough for her to know he was alright, if it wasn't for him she would be dead. They made eye contact and nodded to each other as she was barley getting her words back not even a second later someone lunged at her...it was rick hugging both carl and Aurora. "i don't mean to interrupt this moment but uh.. i have a friend her with me to help us" a man was in the shadows this whole time he slowly walked out into the moonlight, Auroras heart sank..her eys widened and for a second she even stopped breathing, her emotions took over her body completely as she stood there like a deer in headlights, it was all processing...the only words that she couold say was..

"Dad?"

PLOT TWISTTTT, i truly apologies for the long update i have been in a writing block i promise i have three more drafts i have to finish for the other stories thank you for your patience!!

i did remove the whole carl's SA out cause i cant bring myself to write it as it makes me super emotional so i do apologize
