Every step closer to detention was slow and heavy. I walked through the door and a short old woman glared at me. I guess if you get just one detention you are considered a troubled kid. "Sit" her one word was harsh and gloomy. I quickly sat down while looking at the ground. The teacher stood up," I'm Mrs. Sparks, I will be in the teachers lounge for the time you are here." After that she just walked away ignoring us. I look out the window wishing I wasn't here. I feel a tap on my shoulder. "So, you're with my ex now?" Lori was standing beside me. "I said I would go on a date, why is everyone assuming we're together?" Lori smirked, " Oh come on, you two are always together!" "But I really don't see why, I mean, look at you! You're ugly, worthless, and a nobody!" I stood up pushing the desk away. "Why are you even here Lori? Did you know I got detention?" I looked up about to cry. "IF I'M A NOBODY WHY DO YOU CARE?!?!" I screamed in her face. All the other kids that were talking in their groups, went silent. Lori was looking around embarrassed. "NOTHING TO SAY? IF YOU DO, SAY IT NOW!" By this time tears were pouring down my face. Lori backed up and sat back down. I looked over at all the other kids staring and whispering. I ran out of the room, not even caring if I get in more trouble. I ran across the street to the old playground.My phone went nuts after an hour of sitting there.I pick it up and I have 4 messages, 3 from Michael and 1 from Cody. I didn't know who I wanted with me. Michael just to make Lori jealous, or Cody since he was my only friend....
