A black sword were stabbed at the head of the monster that was just killed. Irene, Wendy, Joy and Samuel were walking on the field when they witnessed a tall black armored guy who just killed a monster that they were just about kill.
"What the hell?" Samuel said
"Did that guy just stole our prey?" Wendy said
"We were just gonna kill it but it was gone now! Hey!" Samuel said and walk towards the figure
The armored man turn his gaze on him as it's left eye were glowing red. Samuel took a step back a little for it's presence were too heavy for him but he snapped himself back.
"That was supposed to be our prey! We wounded it first" Samuel said angrily
"Oh really? But you didn't manage to kill it. This was on my list on hunting so I suggest you find another one. There's another ogre monster over there" He spoke in deep voice
"Did you know how strong that ogre was?" Samuel said
"I know, you guys are amethyst rank now right?" He said
"Sapphire" Wendy said and walk towards you
"Oh sapphire, that's pretty high ranking adventurers, an ogre like this were just a play thing to you guys if your really that in high rank" he said
"Are you mocking us?" Wendy asked
"Nope. This one is now mine, I got the soul stone of it for I have killed it, it's pretty rare so good luck on next hunting" The man turn around
"Hey!" Samuel said
"What?" The man spoke
"Are you an adventurer?" Samuel asked
"No, I'm a freelancer" he said
"Well that's good, how about we make a deal?" Samuel asked
"What deal?" He asked
"If I defeated you in a fair fight, you'll give me all the soul stone of ogre you gathered" Samuel said
"Ardent to have this soul stone? Well sorry but I got this soul stones first" he said
"Well I need it now! I'll steal it from you if I have to!" Samuel said
"Samuel stop!" Irene said
"Sorry but this time Irene, I have to do this" Samuel said
"We didn't even know how strong he is!" Joy said
"If you won't make a deal, I'll use force" Samuel said
"If you can" He look at Samuel
Samuel disappeared and decided to cut him with his sword but he deflected it with his sword as his eyes glowed red.
"Push" He spoke
Samuel saw his left eye glowing red then the ground cracked as Samuel were pushed away by a unknown force surprising all of them then Joy saw a glimpse of his aura. She saw him release a huge amount of strength with just a second but it was enough for Joy to see.
"Samuel!" Irene run towards him "Are you okay?"
"Damn that hurts!" Samuel said
"I told you to stop" Irene said
