A few days, you finally went out of your room and do your daily routine as you had clean tenshukaku and even went to train soldiers in the training grounds.

While training, you haven't seen makoto anywhere as you thought she was just in her room.

Just then one of the soldier tap your shoulder as you snap back to reality and look at him.

"Commander, are you alright? You've been spacing out for quite a while"

"Ah it's nothing"

"Commander if your still not feeling well, you shouldn't push yourself"

"I'm fine, don't worry"

The soldier just nod before going back on his training. After that you went back inside tenshukaku as you were now having deep thoughts because you still don't see makoto anywhere nor felt her presence.

Suddenly you smell some burnt food coming from the kitchen as you got confused on who's cooking and went there.

When you got there, you saw ei cooking again and tons of burnt food were on the table and the pan was on fire.

Ei was panicking as you just sigh and approached her. You gently took the pan on her hand as ei suddenly look at you.

"Y/n"

"Ei, I told you to not cook without a guide"

"I want to make dinner for makoto since she went to another nation for some matters"

"Matters?"

"Yes, I saw her leave early when I encountered her in the hall. She told me she'll be back at night and just need to attend some urgent matters in another nation"

"....I see"

You know something was off because makoto would always bring you with her whenever she went to another nation for some meeting since it's part of your contract.

You first made dinner as ei just watch you and later you put down the food on the table and took out the burnt food.

Now what you need to do is just don't make ei suspicious of you because you know something was off as you just stayed beside her and accompany her as much as possible.

Later ei decided to take a patrol on inazuma for any monster activities as you decided to stay in tenshukaku and told her that you still need to finish some of your task.

Before she left she ask you something.

"Y/n"

"Yes?"

"I need to tell you something after this war..would you be willing to listen to what I'll say before you came back to your hometown?"

"Of course, ei"

"Great then let us meet here at tenshukaku"

"Sure"

When she finally left, you immediately sense makoto's elemental trace and decided to take off inazuma.

Hours of flying you reach a nation which is called knaneri'ah, a nation without a god as you can finally feel makoto's presence.

You landed down on the ground and can sense such tremendous aura all over the place as the nation was in full chaos.

"Makoto, I need to find her"

You mumbled as you walk around the nation while you met some monster and summon your sword as you use your vision to defeat them.

Later you had found the other archons fighting those monster as they had seen you and was surprised.

Rex lapis immediately went to you as he spoke.

"Y/n, what are you doing here!?"

"I know something was off because makoto would take me anywhere she go not until now"

"You shouldn't be here y/n, this place is full of corrupted darkness if you got corrupted by it too you will go berserk"

"It is too late now rex lapis, I will help you with whatever your task in this nation and bring makoto back"

"....I cannot stop you, can't I?"

"You know me rex lapis"

"Fine, do what you want but be careful. Don't be corrupted by the darkness"

"I won't"
