"Good morning."

"Yeah. Sit down. Have breakfast."

Considering that the best thing is not to bother because of the Vegas' night jokes, Pete, looking "as if nothing has happened", goes out on the veranda with Venice in his arms. He has already managed to feed the baby. The table is set for three adults, but Somchai is not yet visible nearby.

Vegas drinks only coffee again, without taking his eyes off the book open in front of him.

"Are you going to spend the day just with water? Eat properly" he nods to Pete, who is too shy to empty the plate again. "Do you want me to leave, huh?"

Pete would ask "why don't you eat yourself", but he really doesn't want to run into another ambiguous joke. So while the baby is trying to feed his hedgehog with a piece of bun, Pete is having breakfast, trying not to cross his gaze with Vegas squinting in his direction every now and then. Somchai appears a few minutes later. Grabs Vegas by the neck from behind and kisses him, smacking his lips.

"Well, okay, okay, sit down already, your coffee is getting cold," Vegas, smiling condescendingly, frees himself from his embrace.

After a few more minutes, Vegas' phone starts vibrating, so he gets up from the table to answer.

That's a brutal appetite, Pete mentally notes, looking at the vivacity with which Somchai devours the contents of the plates.

"He's handsome, isn't he?" suddenly the guy turns to Pete, nodding in the direction of Vegas talking on the phone.

Pete understands that it is at least impolite to ignore. After all, this is his employer's boyfriend.

"Uh... to be honest, I'm here for Venice's sake and I can't…"

"Oh, come on, why are you so tight, huh? Can you tell if a man is handsome or not? What's wrong with that?"

Pete shrugs.

"Huh, well, okay. You don't have to answer. I know for sure that he's handsome! Indeed!"

Pete nods, hoping in his heart that their communication is over, but Somchai adds fuel to the fire:

"But he likes you," Somchai winks.

No matter how hard he tries to take these words calmly, Pete can't help blushing.

"Ay, Pete, you've blushed," Somchai giggles, jokingly shaking his finger at him, "blushed."

"What makes you think so?"

Somchai bursts out laughing:

"Gosh! I was kidding. And you fell for it, right? Well, I'm sorry. I wanted to loose the tension. Of course he doesn't like you."

Pete, frowning, plays with his jaw muscles. Another joker. Well, you're definitely worth each other.

"No, no offense, you're a good-looking guy and all that, but, how should I put it correctly, you're too plain for him. Vegas has always preferred a more, ahem, club type, got it?"

Pete raises his eyebrows and shrugs: just don't care.

"Well, like... not to be ashamed to show him in public."
