In the morning, Pete does not wake up from the sound of the alarm clock, his light sleep is interrupted by a muffled voice behind the wall. Stretching, he gets out of bed and quietly approaches the door that connects his room with the nursery.

Hmm.

"Come on, at least, eat a spoon, Venice!"

Hmm... feeds him? Hope it's edible.

"One spoon, well? Come on. One spoonful for me... do you want it? Eh... so you don't want to eat it for me... but for Pete? Will you have one spoon for Pete?.. Well done. So... And for the hedgehog? Will you eat a spoon for the hedgehog?.. Good."

Pete may still be a little angry with Vegas, but he can't help but smile when he hears these attempts of the latter to "butter up" his brother.

"I know that you still feel offended, baby, I know that you were very scared... Just try to understand: I'm still afraid too. I'm afraid I can't handle it all, baby."

Pete decides it's time to show up in the nursery. He finds Vegas sitting on a baggy pouf, with a Venice on his lap. The porridge saucer is half full.

"Good morning," Vegas greets him, but Pete prefers the smile that instantly shone on Venice's face.

"Hello," Pete replies, unusually restrained. "You need to go to the office, right? I'll finish with the feeding. I'll just wash my hands."

"I warned I'd be an hour late. You see, there are advantages in being a boss."

Pete nods.

"You didn't change..."

"I changed the diaper. Everything is fine."

"Uh... okay."

"Pete?"

"Yes?"

"It's Friday, right?"

Have you lost count of the days? Or another start 'from afar?

"That's right."

"So tomorrow is Saturday?"

Is he playing a fool?

"Exactly."

"I have no idea what that so-called mother of Venice is up to... so, what if we get out somewhere again, at least for a day?"

"Khun Vegas. The last thing I'd like to do is disturb you... like last weekend."

"Are you at it again?" with difficulty, but Vegas manages to feed another spoonful of porridge to Venice. "So... is this a bad idea?"

Pete shrugs.

"Venice, you and me. Will that suit you?"

Pete blushes. He had no intention of giving Vegas a choice: to spend the weekend with him and the baby or with his boyfriend. But he definitely can't stand Somchai's half-witted jokes. And after all this hassle, he wants simple peace.

"I see. The two of you turned on me."

Pete covers his mouth with the palm, hiding a smile: Vegas' beautiful features in their severity do not go to be angry at all.

"Pete. This is. Simply. A picnic."

"Got it."

"Damn... okay, I'm to blame, I'm to blame to both of you, is that it?"

Pete shifts from one foot to the other, describing an arc with his eyes.

"It's really my fault. I'm sorry. Really sorry. Is that better?"
