Tessa Hale never expected her senior year to turn out the way it seemed to be going. She had everything plan since day one. What she would wear exactly. What classes she'd be taking. What clubs and sports she'd join. What she would write in her valedictorian speech. And of course, what University she would attend.
She didn't expect to befriend Kayden Brooks. Just as she sure as hell didn't expect to fall in love with him. But things never go as planned and Tessa realizes her mistake when she's crying over him while eating cookie dough ice cream.
When realization hits her she tries to go back to her plans but again they take completely different turn. After waking up with her head inside the toilet bowl, missing two periods in a row, and peeing on about 40 white sticks that she forced her best friend to buy her at the local drug store, Tessa comes to conclusions that she's pregnant.
With the guy who stole her first everything.
Who stole her heart, ripped it out of her chest and then ran it over with the death trap he called a motorcycle.
AKA. Kayden Brooks.
The only good thing in all this is that senior year is just a few weeks away from being over and for the first time, Tessa couldn't be happier. Now, all she has to do is keep her pregnancy away from the ears of the McBridge student body and the devil himself.
But when have things gone Tessa's way?
Oh right, never!
And you can already guess who finds out.
Hoping he won't want anything to do with the baby, just like he didn't want anything with her, Tessa tries to ignore him.
But once again, the odds are not in Tessa's favor and Kayden has other ideas. Ideas that don't involve leaving Tessa alone now that she's caring his baby. Ever.
