Tomorrow is the big day; my sister is getting married! Her and her fiancé James got together about 5 years ago, and they finally decided to get married. They're a perfect couple, very much in love and very excited for their dream fall-wedding. It's Friday morning now, 6am and my alarm rings. I silently sigh, turn it off and grab my phone.

I have a few messages, mostly pictures of my friends from last night. They all went out for drinks at this crowed bar, I don't like those kind of places and also, I had work to do. I slowly get out of bed, grab my outfit for today and take a shower in the attached bathroom. I do my hair, put on a little bit of mascara and get downstairs. I grab a quick breakfast by putting some cut up fruits in a bowl, and put on my shoes once I'm all done and ready to go.

I work in a library here in Boston, Massachusetts. Well, I don't just work there, I actually own it. My grandfather used to own it, but sadly, he passed away about 5 years ago. He got this library when he was only 22 years old, so it's been there for a while! When he was still here, and when I had the age, I started helping him out.

We did everything together, from the book orders to decorating the library inside and out. We actually redecorated the whole thing only a few months before he passed. He told me that I was going to be an amazing owner, and I really love the job I have now. The library is beautiful, and very popular here. People are coming from other states, sometimes even other countries to visit it here.

I'm very proud of this library, and after a lot of questions about it, it also became a book store. People really loved all the books we had here, so we decided to give them the opportunity to even buy the books. It's been an amazing decision, because ever since that happened, it became even more popular.

I walk towards the library, it's about 15 minutes walking from here, and get there at half past 7am. It's opening at 9am today, but I always like to come early to help the staff out. I get inside, greet my wonderful coworkers and help them get everything ready. I love working here so much, all the books around me just make me feel so comfortable! I really like reading, I've been doing it ever since I could.

I get the library all ready to be used, and open the doors once it's time. There are already people here, but mostly parents with little kids. It's still early, and parents with kids mostly come in the morning. People from other ages also come in the morning, but mostly after noon, and they keep coming all day long until it's time to close up.

We originally close at 8pm, but sometimes, we close a little later because people are still there. I do all the paperwork I have to do for today, and get back to my coworkers again. "Is everything okay here? Do you need some help?" I ask, looking at them. "Oh no, that's okay! We're all good, thank you!" one of my coworkers, Jake replies, making me smile.

"Okay guys, I'll be in my usual spot if you need me" I giggle, talking about the spot in this library where I always read books all day. "Go ahead, sweetie!" one of the others adds, so I smile at them all and make my way to my little spot to read books. I spend the rest of my day there, until it's 5pm. My coworkers told me that I should go home early today because they think I 'work too much', so I agreed on going home early today. I'm free this weekend anyway, for the wedding.

I make my way back home, take off my shoes and sit down on the couch after grabbing a cup of tea. I'm pretty tired of the day, even though I didn't do that much. It happens a lot lately, maybe it's true that I'm staying at work too late sometimes. For now, I just grab my phone and check the messages I got.
