No One's POV:

"Come on, breathe for me sweetie," the nurse frantically demanded as she placed the mask over Ashlyn's face in the ambulance, "her heart rate is dropping, come on sweetie, just a few more minutes. We're almost there, just a few
more minutes until you're going to be in a room."

"There's a room for her on the third floor, forget about all of the other stuff, just get this girl up there!" The driver urged as everyone lifted Ashlyn's stretcher out of the ambulance and wheeled her into the emergency room.

Once Ashlyn was in her room the set of doctors rushed to get a ventilator on the poor girl and an IV started in her arm.

"Her cousin, a girl with curly hair, a boy, and some red headed kid are here, her sibling maybe?" The nurse paged in, asking if she could let them up.

The nurse from the ambulance, Marie, sighed as she paged her back. "I suppose, but tell them they can't disturb her. We're just trying to keep her alive right now."

"Yes ma'am!" The nurse downstairs said before Marie heard running footsteps headed towards the elevator.

"Ashlyn!!" All four bellowed as they saw the state of her in the bed, as a doctor grabbed a hospital gown.

"Will one of you help Nurse Marie out this on her?" The doctor asked as she grabbed a clipboard with Ashlyn's numbers on it.

"I will," Gina offered as the three boys stepped behind the curtain.

Gina helped Marie slip off Ashlyn's top before she slipped the hospital gown around Ashlyn, leaving her pants on until they got the gown secure.

"Thanks for keeping her pants on until the gown was on, I know Ash would appreciate it." Gina said as she felt tears grow in her eyes at the visual state of her best friend.

"Of course, she's in good hands." Marie patted Gina on the back as the curtain was pulled open.

"Okay you three," the doctor, Felicity, said as she pointed towards the boys, "relations to her."

EJ walked forward as he looked at his cousin, "Cousin, but she's more like my sister."

Felicity nodded in compassion with understanding. "Okay, you?" She asked, pointing towards Ricky.

"Um friend? I'm playing the opposite of Ash in our musical." Ricky said, thinking as he thought of his answer.

"And you, I'm assuming, you are her brother?" Felicity assumed, pointing towards Big Red.

"What? No! That is so not what we are." Red quickly explained waving his hands to and fro.

"Oh okay, sorry." Felicity apologized as she saw the blood run to the boy's face.

"Does someone want to tell me what happened?" The nurse asked as they all looked over at Marie.

Ricky recalled his and Ashlyn's conversation, making sure to write down dizziness and swaying in the report.

"I know Ashlyn has been having headaches for a few days, but I took it as her overworking herself because of the musical," EJ elaborated as he looked at the nurse, as a lone tear started to fall down his cheek, "she's the closest family member I have, she's my best friend. I will do literally anything if you can just bring her back."

Gina grabbed EJ's hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze as Marie gave him a tissue, "we're going to try our best, honey, we're gonna try."

"Can any of us stay with her?" Red asked as he stared at Ashlyn.
