"Y/n you come back here this Instant young lady" my mother says
" what are you gunna do about it " I say as I walk out of the house. My mom pulls out a gun full of blanks an fires it right next to my ear then she fires again next to my other one. " let's see how you like disobeying me again " my mother said. I fall down in the sidewalk in front of my house clutching my ears hearing a loud ringing tears falling from my eyes.

I wake up in a cold sweat looking down to where I was laying I see Eddie fast asleep. I quietly get out of the boat at least I think I did. I feel a familiar rhythm.
I go to the cassette player and put my hand on the speaker I start to sign along to the song. " exit light enter night Take my hand we're of to never never land" i sing at the top of my lungs when I hear two loud claps I turn around to see Eddie staring at me amazed.
~" what "~ I signed as I said it
"I didn't know you could sing or even if you liked music"
~" why cus I'm deaf"~
" I mean yea I guess"
~" I wasn't always deaf asshole"~ I'm getting ready annoyed now
" well I just thought-" I cut him off
~" that's right you thought you assumed instead of just asking.  If you asked I would have told you"~ I was basically yelling at him at this point. I ran out of the boat house and towards the house. I found a small closet in the bedroom and sat in there tears falling from my face. I stayed there for what seemed like an hour then Their was a loud bang on the door. Someone yelled but I couldn't make out what they said. I got up and went back to the boat house to find Eddie holding a broken bottle up to Steve's throat. ~" woah what the fuck happened Steve why are you here."~ He points behind me. I turn around to see a group of people. I basically hide behind Eddie. I just looked down at my feet because I was to exhausted to read lips. Eddie taps my shoulder ~" yes "~
" Dustin asked you a question " Eddie said
~" what was the question "~
" how do you know Steve " he said
~" I'm sorry I didn't quite catch that one more time"~ before he spoke I walked up to him and looked at his lips
"How do you know Steve and why are you doing that. are you even paying attention" he said
~" oh um he dated my sister I was reading your lips and no not till the question"~ I responded
Everyone looked at Eddie I'm assuming he told everyone I'm deaf because their confused faces where gone.
I go back by Eddie we both sit down and I put my head on him.
" can you tell us what happened to Chrissy " Dustin asked
I look up at him
" no you'll think I'm crazy"
They say something else but I just want to stare at Eddie and his beautiful face
" she started to float in the air and her bones started cracking breaking her jaw dislocated and her eyes...  it was like they were being pulled out of the sockets" he begins to cry and I hug him
I look at the group
~" i was talking to her I asked her something and it was like she was in a trance. I heard the bones break that's how loud it was my ears began to ring I refused to look at her like that I covers my ears trying to stop the ringing."~ I started tearing up too 
"Trance " Dustin questioned
~" yea trance or spell."~ I added
" or curse" Eddie added
" vecna's curse" Dustin said
The group left Eddie and I to get food for us.
" can I ask you now " he said
~" ask me what "~
" how you become deaf " I was hesitant " you don't have to answer " he looked away
~" my mom... she shot blanks next to my ears one next to each just cus I won't listen. Then when she found out I became deaf she took my brother and left us. "~
" what's your brothers  name."
~"Argyle ... I miss him a lot "~ I start to cry and Eddie just holds me making me feel safe.
" can I ask what happened. Why don't you see him anymore " Eddie asked
~" after my mom and dad got a divorce she wouldn't leave without him they end up moving to California."~
" what do you think he'd be doing right now"
~" if I know him that well and I do he's probably smoking weed in the back of his work van."~ 
" you know mike wheeler just went to California to visit his girlfriend and best friend I wonder if they know each other "
~" if they live in Lenora they definitely know each other."~ 
" ok teach me some sign language "
I teach him to finger spell and more I remember my backpack I always have on me I grab a sign language book and hand it to him

" thanks ok my turn do you know anything about dnd"
~" a little bit but  not much "~  we sat there talking about our passions.
"You know you have a beautiful voice why don't you talk more" Eddie said
~" I was bullied a lot at my last school because of my voice."~
" I think your voice is really soothing."
We lean closer to each other lips almost touching. I hear the door hit the wall and I look over
