It's been a month since Urokodaki had started Sabito's training to become a demon slayer.
It wasn't easy though...
Urokodaki had made him pass a very difficult trial in order to be taught, to see whether he's actually worth it or not.
After he did that, Urokodaki agreed to teach him the breath of water.

The breath of water, was an easy-to-learn-and-handle breath. It was the most common one, too. Moreover, it dealt with decent damage. This water breath was the pure example of what we can call, ‘perfect’.
However, all breathings could be unstoppable once mastered.

Urokodaki was a strict instructor too. He didn't seemed to like whenever his student made a mistake in practicing breathing forms.

“Now seriously, why is it always this cold on the mountains?” Sabito said to himself while practicing breathing forms on the mountains.
It wasn't snowing that time but seemed like there was a hailstorm last night.

“If you want to become a demon slayer, you should be used to swinging your sword in any condition... Including the cold at the mountains.” that's what Urokodaki had said this morning.

Suddenly, Sabito noticed a black-haired boy lying at the snowy ground. He was wearing a plane pink haori.

“Huh?!”

He was looking weak and apparently unconscious.

“Hey...are you alright...?” Sabito tried waking him up but that didn't help either. The boy was indeed very weak for some reason.

So, he decided to bring the black-haired boy to Urokodaki's hut.
After having rest for a while, he finally woke up.

“Are you okay?”

“...” the boy didn't answered and just looked around in response. He had a sad expression on his face.

“What's your name?”

“G-Giyuu Tomioka.”

“You were lying unconscious on the ground... What had happened?” asked Sabito.

“...I...ran....away.... from my village.” the boy answered, “And then, there was the hailstorm... I was very cold...and starving...”

“Why did you ran away?”

“They didn't believed me....” he said, “They thought I'm mad...no one believes me... I know what I saw!”

“What did you saw?” he was growing more and more suspicious about this black-haired boy.

“.... I saw....a demon.” the boy replied, almost breaking into tears, “He...he devoured... everyone! I did nothing to save them... I only hid myself like coward. When I told everyone...they didn't listened to me...”

“A demon?!”

“See? I know.... Even you don't believe me...”

“I do believe you.”

“What?! You...do?”

“About a month ago...my whole town for destroyed by two demons. I know exactly you aren't lying about them.”

“Your....whole town?”

“Also, that was when I first encountered demon slayers.” Sabito explained everything about the demons and the demon slayers that Urokodaki had told him.

“A demon slayer...”

Giyuu also wanted to become a demon slayer now. Surprisingly, soon after he regained his strength, Urokodaki agreed to teach him water breathing as well.

Now, Sabito had a companion aspiring demon slayer along with him.
