What's the Plan?

You had now been caught up with Slappy's whole deal, and were watching him pace the floor as he mumbled to himself, plotting against Stine. For the moment, you had some time to think.
Like many monsters in Stine's books, Slappy was written to be a villain, impervious to any regular death (whether this was solely for the sake of sequels, you never knew). However, he was written differently than all the others. From what he had told you, he was also written with a unique sense of humor, the ability to be a friend if the circumstances were right. And after Stine realized he could bring his creations to life, he bonded with Slappy the most. They worked in tandem to prank and torment those who wronged them. But Slappy had taken things a little too far.
But you, personally, didn't think that deserved being banished. Especially when he had gained his own sort of sentience... something some may call a soul.
And now that he had felt what betrayal was like, before you stood a sad little creature that was bent on revenge to avoid feeling it again. At least, that was how you interpreted it. He wasn't angry about Stine's choice in morals.
He was angry because he was left alone.
Hm.
"Y'know what? I will help you." You stood to say.
"Hm? Ha. Not like you had a choice to begin with." Slappy said. He stared at you. "... but it's good to have you on board. Now are you gonna be useful?"
"Don't worry. I have a plan."
"Really?"
"Or at least, I have a location." You pulled out your phone and sat down again, motioning for Slappy to take a look. He stared at you some more. Suddenly you were being less defiant. That was unusual, and surely this was a trap.
"Come on, I won't bite." You said.
He scootched over to you on the sofa, with a little of what almost looked like nervousness. Still, he looked over at the screen you held.
"See, I had actually heard about R.L. Stine taking up a new career in teaching. I didn't think much of it at first, but found out a while back that he works not far from here now." You swiped over a map. "It's only a couple hours away."
Slappy looked blankly at the screen for a moment, before a glint in his eyes appeared and he began to laugh.
"Yes! This is perfect. Well, not perfect, but a start. Now all I have to do is think of the perfect way to get back at him."
"Now hold on, how do you expect us to get there?"
"You're taking us. Obviously."
"Aw, what?" You began to complain, but as you saw the green spark behind the brown of his eyes, you decided against getting back on his bad side. "Fine, fine. Can we at least wait til morning?"
"Why?"
"Are you kidding? I am not a night driver. We'll die." You thought for a second, "or at least, I'll die." He sighed.
"Fine. But you'd better be up early to get us there!"
"Whatever, dummy."
"... what did you just call me." You caught yourself.
"Agh! Sorry, slip of the tongue. Uh.... Sir??" He was technically your boss now. Was that right? You were honestly half joking as you said it.
"That's more like it." You let out your own sigh, a combination of frustration and exhaustion overtaking you at the thought of sleep. You began to head to your bedroom, but before you made it you turned, only to see Slappy standing on the sofa and watching you.
"What?" You asked.
"What?"Slappy said back.
"Aren't you gonna sleep or something? I sure am."
"I don't exactly need sleep."
"Ah." You shuffled. Awkwardly.
"Well I mean, I guess there's nowhere else for you to go... um. Just stay in here ok? And please, for my sake... try not to be an asshole and wreck the place."
"You probably know I can't promise that." He smirked. You let out another exhausted sigh.
"Ok..." you mumbled, moving off to your bedroom, simply desperate for sleep. Once you hit the pillow you were out.

You woke to something poking you aggressively. When your eyes opened you were met by Slappy hovering over your chest. "Wake up, slave. We've got ground to cover." You groaned, trying to process everything that was happening and had happened. Right. Slappy.
"Ughhh god fine," you sat up exaggeratedly slowly, "but if I'm helping you willingly could you at least call me by my name?" Slappy grumbled a little.
"Fine... but you'd better be ready to leave in 10... ____." He said, and hopped down, slamming the door behind him as he left. Despite your theatrics, you really were tired. You stretched the best you could and tried to pull yourself out of bed. You often didn't take long to get ready anyway, so luckily you could follow Slappy's ridiculous command. You threw on an outfit and did a quick cleanup before finding Slappy waiting for you in the living room. You looked around, realizing that seemingly most things weren't out of place. That was a pleasant surprise. You also found however that the sink was full of junk. Meh, better than the whole place being trashed.
"Good, you're ready. Now let's go!" Slappy called, gesturing to the door.
"Hold on, geez. I just now got ready. And besides, I have a feeling your plan can wait."
"It definitely can't. Hurry up!"
"You know, if you're gonna be this impatient this whole time, it's gonna be a long two and a half hours."

You had managed to go in silence for a while, making your way on the road. Given you appreciated it, but you were getting curious.
"So... what exactly is this master plan of yours?" You asked. A short laugh left his mouth.
"What do you think? We're gonna torture him a little," he said as you sighed, "and then kill him." You nearly swerved off the road.
"You're still on that huh? Y'know as much as I'm all for messing with someone for revenge's sake, I feel like this could be resolved with a good talk."you said. You really didn't wanna have to kill anybody. You hoped over the span of the trip Slappy might cool down a little.
"Are you kidding? How would you feel if you were banished into virtual nothingness for years?" He argued. You thought about it.
"Hmm... ok, I see your point." Still.... Maybe you could come to a compromise.
