i took off the blindfold and saw a little table with plates, silverware and a bouquet of roses on it. there were flower pedals leading to the table with candles lit on the outside following. there was a red heart shaped rug under the table and little flower stands around the table. there were also men out by the water playing instruments and to top it off, there was a wooden cover above us with little lace bows on the poles. this was honestly way more than great, it was so beautiful. (i detailed that to the best of my ability 😭)

andre: do you like it?
aaliyah: yes i love it its so amazing
i turned and gave him a small hug. he took my hand and led us to the table. u pulled out one chair for me to sit in and sat in the other. he gently grabbed my hand and held it while caressing his thumb against my hand.
andre: so, how was your day
aaliyah: it was good but i didn't do much today
andre: thats good
aaliyah: anyways, this place is super nice
andre: yeah i know, my friend hooked me up with the best
aaliyah: well he's a great friend because this place is beautiful
andre: also i've been mean to ask you something
aaliyah: hm?
andre: well if im not going too fast i was wondering if..
aaliyah: ...
andre: you wanted to be my girlfriend
i stopped and looked down. i've been waiting for this moment 😜. on the outside, im might've looked calm but on the inside? i was jumping up and down and doing my victory dance (💀).
andre: aaliyah? its okay if you say no i unders-
aaliyah: no no im sorry for pausing like that but uh yeah yes i would love to be your girlfriend
andre: great :)
i smiled and a guy came over to us and asked if we needed anything. that rest of the night was a night to remember for the rest of my life. he was being such a gentleman, he kelt complementing me, he watched the sunset with me and it was just so amazing. i was super lucky to have a guy like him in my life.
