The acquisition of King and Queen Cruises, in 1983, put them into the more luxurious type of ships.


1st Ship: RMS King George: Launched: November 13, 1942. Status: Retired in 1968. Renovated in 1976, into a Hotel Ship, located behind the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Will be moved to Global Cruise Ship Museum and Hotel Complex.

2nd Ship: RMS Prince of Wales: Launched: November 13, 1942. Status: Retired in 1972. Sold in 1975 to Costa Cruise and renamed, "Costa Lusso", retired in 2000. Currently being renovated into a Hotel Ship. Will be moved to Global Cruise Ship Museum and Hotel Complex

3rd Ship: RMS Queen Zenobia: Launched: November 11, 1972. Status: Retired in 2009. Renovated into a Hotel Ship, located behind the Queen Elizabeth 2 in Dubia. Will be moved to Global Cruise Ship Museum and Hotel Complex
