Page 3- Chen And the Island

No One's POV: (It will stay this way until Chapter 2)

They were all on the ferry and waiting to arrive at the island when a large man with metal hands walked up to them. "You ninja?" He asked. They nodded. Uncertain, Cole looks at him. "What do you want?" Cole asked, trying not to be rude, but of course, Kai had to butt in. "Karlof just wondering." Karlof said and started to walk away. "Well wonder somewhere else." Kai snapped. Nya smacked him in the head. "KAI!" She hissed through clenched teeth. "Karlof said he was just wondering! Red boy need calm down!" Karlof said, annoyed. "Yeah? Looks like you have most of your brains and grammar in your large mittens there!" Kai said. Now everyone was trying to stop him. Zane went to Karlof. "I am sorry for my friend's rude behavior, he is hot headed and isn't thinking straight, we are merely just here for someone." Zane said. Karlof calmed down. He looked at Kai. "These aren't mittens, these crush ninjas." He warned before leaving. "Way to go Kai!" Jay snapped at Kai. "What?!" Kai asked. "We are here for Lloyd, if we get in a pinch and these guys hate us, they will leave us for dead!" Nya snapped. "Well sorry!" Kai snapped. Everyone looked at the two.

"EVERYONE WE ARE AT THE ISLAND, PLEASE EXIT THE FERRY!" A deep chalky voice called out. They all left the ferry and went to look at the island. "This way everyone." A man by the name Clouse said. Everyone followed him in, and everyone gathered. "All rise for Master Chen!" Clouse shouted out. Suddenly kabuki came in and servants carried Chen into the room. "Ho Ho Ho Ho!" Chen laughed. "I see a few familiar faces here! I see light, sound, shadow, and even Ninjago's saviors!" Chen laughs. "I know you all aren't here for nothing! You're here for the glory! To win it all! To be Ninjago's greatest fighter!" Chen announced. Everyone but the ninjas cheered. "What's in it for Karlof if he win?" Karlof asks. "You get to stay on the island! You will have treasures beyond your sight! Win it or lose it!" Chen said. "Now, my staff will lead you to your rooms where you'll be staying, remember! Break the rules, out, lose, out, cheat and you're out!" Chen said and laughed maniacally. "Hey!" Kai shouted as a dressed-up woman grabbed his arm. "What are they, clowns?" Jay asked. "Not clowns, kabuki, they appear to be Chen's servants." Zane said letting the kabuki lead him to his room.

Zane walked into his room and was amazed at how big it was. It was an icy blue colored room. Zane looked and saw that the room was below freezing but he didn't mind. Zane looked at his furniture and frowned when he saw it was all made completely of ice. "Weird." He said to himself. He looked at a small living room area, where of course, the couches and chairs were ice, he also saw a workstation and tools and gadgets lined up on a wall. He smiled and started making blueprints.

With Nya...

Nya walked in refusing the kabuki to touch her. She gasped in the room. It was an ocean blue color. A fake wall stood in the middle of it sectioning off the living room area with the main bedroom part. The wall was a waterfall decoration. Water splashed down from in between two things of glass. Her bed was aqua colored and water decorations were everywhere. Her living room area consisted of a T.V., a couch, and two chairs. The most noticeable feature was a small pond, it had lilly pads and flowers. She smiled and started practicing her moves.

(I don't need to go into explaining Kai, Jay, or Cole's rooms, if you watched season 4, if you haven't...why are you here?)

The speakers blared as Chen talked through it. "HELLO CONTESTANTS! I HAVE HIDDEN JADE BLADES ALL OVER THE PALACE! THERE ARE ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE BUT ONE! BRING YOUR JADE BLADE TO THE CENTER HALL AND PLACE IT IN ITS HOLDER AND BE SAFE UNTIL THE NEXT ROUND! GOOD LUCK! HAHAHAHA!" Chen's voice stopped blaring through the speakers, and it was now free for all.

Jay was in the process of bathing when the announcement was made, irritated, he walked out of his bathroom and used spinjitzu to get into his outfit and the master of light came in and tried to grab the jade blade that was in his room. Jay shocked Paleman and just tried to fight for the Jade blade. "I'll take that!" Paleman said, but Jay was already irritated. "As if!" Paleman got the blade and ran off, leaving a dizzy Jay laying on the floor.

Cole was not having any luck right now. He was still sore from laying on a bed of rock. He looked around and saw a jade blade. Unfortunately, so did the master of nature. However, Cole managed to kick him away and grabbed the jade blade and immediately started running away. A couple of contestants started to chase him but left him alone after they found their own jade blades.

Nya had already brought her jade blade, in which she fought 5 people for, in its place. She stood next to Cole and saw Jay running in and placing his jade blade as well. Now it was only Zane and Kai. She was going to have their asses if they didn't make it, once this tournament is over.

Zane used his ice power to fend for himself as he had a jade blade but was cornered. (I keep writing fang blades, lol). Zane remembered a gadget he made before his...challenge and activated the mechanical spider. The spider crawled on the elemental masters and attached thread to them. Zane clicked a button on his arm, and electrocuted them, enough to stun them for a while, but not make them pass out. Zane ran to the room and placed his jade blade and was safe. He stood by Nya, Jay, and Cole.

Kai was in a bit of a pickle. He was against Karlof for the last blade. It was in the middle and Karlof ran to it. Kai might be hot headed, but he let Karlof win, going with his plan. Karlof might be here to win, but Kai was here for his youngest brother. He needed to do more than just 'win'. He was out to save Lloyd. The one who saved Ninjago twice now. The one who nearly lost his life for both those times. Karlof ran away. He retracted his metal. Kai blasted fire at him and Karlof dropped the blade. Kai grabbed it and ran to the room. Karlof was right behind him. Kai made it to the room, much to his team's relief. He placed his jade blade with the rest. "Winner! Loser!" Chen said. "Fine! Karlof never wanted stupid island anyway!" Karlof said. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay." Chen said. He clicked a button. Karlof fell through a trapdoor that was under him. Karlof yelled before it was cut off when the door closed. "Oh well! What a loser! Now off to your rooms, before you do that, look at your brackets! Those will be who you're fighting against tomorrow!

"I guess only Kai's fighting." Jay said. "Alright guys, tonight, meet me in my room." Nya said. "Why not ours?" Cole asked. "My room is below freezing; you would not survive." Zane said. "My room conducts electricity so you might get electrocuted." Jay said. "My room is fine, but the master of amber is next to me, and I think she might try and listen in on us through the balcony, so I agree with Nya's room." Kai said. Cole sighed. "Tomorrow at 8?" Cole asked. "Tomorrow at 8." Everyone said.
