Memory Casually Going Out The Window

One day earlier:

Everything is black. Why? Weren't me and Jay just playing games in the monastery? Where am I? A name flashed through my mind. Who's Chen? Why do I feel an overwhelming sense of fear, danger, pain, and anger? Why am I so angry? I opened my eyes a little. It was a little blurry, but I could see well enough to tell that I was in a cage of some sorts. Again? Who is it this time? I was getting tired of getting kidnapped. How did I get kidnapped anyways? The last thing that I can remember are me and Jay, Kai, and Cole fighting over the best video game, and that Zane was making dinner while Nya was outside training. Everything else was fuzzy and dark, faint sounds of them screaming my name also appeared. Why? Was it that I was kidnapped, and they couldn't do anything about it? 

I heard a banging sound, and I shot up. I groaned a bit as I hit my head on the bars. There was an older looking guy, he was wearing a weird purple snake-like scarf thing around his neck. "W-who are you?" I asked while staring at him. I widened my eyes. Why was my voice like that?! It sounded deeper. A lot deeper compared to my previous voice. The man seemed to grin a little bit. "Well hello Lloyd! You seem to be up! You probably have a good number of questions, yes?" He said while grinning. I could tell based on how he spoke and how I felt around him that he wasn't a good person in the slightest. He obviously had some kind of devious plot in mind. And I wasn't going to let it happen. "Who are you." I said, still not used to my new voice, but it would have to be another problem for later. "I am Chen! How are you feeling? Comfortable?" He said, laughing maniacally. I looked down. I needed to get out of here, maybe I can do something about this? I have barely any recollection of what happened after we defeated the Overlord, all I can remember is pain, fear, anger, and the screams of my friends calling out for me. Maybe I can just say that I don't remember anything? Maybe he'll let me go and I can go find my friends! "Really? I feel fine, but...what happened? I can't recall anything." I said, it wasn't fully a lie; I don't know anything that leads up to me being in a cage. Chen seemed to grin wider, and I could tell that he was going to attempt to turn me against my friends. Oh well, hopefully they can forgive me once this is done. "What do you remember?" Chen asked, tilting his head slightly. "Nothing"

Chen explained the plan to me. Apparently, I'm supposed to track down the ninja, 'pretend' to be regular ole' Lloyd, and gain any info on them that can be used against them. Yeah right. I was going to head out and leave. Preferably forever. Clouse, a scraggly old man, probably as old as my dad, called me in to see Chen. "So, Lloyd, do you know what you can be?" He asked. I was confused. Is he talking about me being the previous golden ninja? I shook my head no, and Chen chuckled. "Well, you can become a creature called the 'Oni.'" I was shocked. What in the world was an 'Oni'? I never heard of such a creature. "What do you mean?" I asked still stunned by the news. "They are creatures of destruction, known for destroying anything in their path. You were able to do that, and you nearly maimed someone." Chen finished and I was shocked. I... what? How could that have happened? Was it a citizen? Or FSM forbid, one of his friends?! "Who?!" I asked. "Me." He answered. I looked at him, he doesn't look like someone who just got attacked and nearly maimed. Chen must have sensed or known what I was going to ask and answered my question. "I had Clouse use dark magic to hide my ugly appearance. Anyways, I have forgiven you, and I know that you probably feel terrible for hurting me. Now, I want you to enter your Oni form when you leave so that you can install fear in those putrid ninjas." He said, looking me dead in the eye. How though? I wouldn't know how, I don't even know how, nor remember anything about entering my Oni form. Maybe it's and anger fueled thing? I mean, all I can remember is that I was really angry at something, and then I suddenly wasn't.

When I got ready to leave, Chen approached me and then Clouse did. Clouse suddenly started using dark magic. I don't know why, but I felt angry, like really angry, but I also felt fear. I began to run when I felt a surge of power go through my body. I felt myself growl. Wait- I GROWLED?! I kept running when I heard arguing. Then I stopped. I turned my head when I saw them. It was Jay, Cole, Nya, and Kai! I slowly crept out of the bushes, I noticed how they all raised their weapons. I was a little nervous. I felt my sense of power disappear and I looked at them. "LLOYD!" They all shouted and hugged me. "Guys! I'm so glad to see you!" I said, a smile on my face. They all let me go and then Kai was the first to speak. "Good to have you back greenie. But how did you get out. "I don't have much recollection of what happened to you or me, after I defeated the Overlord, so I just lied to Chen and said that that I had no memory of anything." I said, it was what happened, but they looked a little worried. "So, what do you remember?" Cole asked. "Not much, I only can recall me and Jay playing video games in the monastery, then you guys went and got teaching jobs at my old boarding school for whatever reason." I could tell they were shocked, "What?" I asked. "You can't remember the second time you defeated the Overlord?"
