"Fuck, fuck, fuck. I'm so fired and it's not even my actual job yet!" You curse to yourself as you practically leap off the bus, running through the crowded streets of Seoul to get to work.
You may be late, but you think that making it to your internship five minutes late is better than showing up to it ten minutes late.
And you're on minute three, you're really pushing it today.
Adjusting your grip on your bag, you let out a small breath of relief when the tall building comes to view. You're about to run faster when your shoulder collides with another passerby, resulting in you falling backwards with a squeak and the stranger falling to the side with a yelp.
You let out a groan of pain and glance down at your hand, wincing when you see the small bit of ripped skin in the middle of your palm. Your eyes widen when you quickly remember that you're not the only one who got hurt, and you quickly turn and blurt out, "I'm so sorry!"
You stare at the top of their head as they brush off their jeans, waving a hand at you to try and let you know that it's okay. You practically crawl over to them and bow your head, "No, really. I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going and I..."
The rest of your apology dies in your throat when you look up and find yourself staring into the eyes of the prettiest man you've ever seen. His black hair is grown into a mullet, emphasizing his sharp eyes and strong features. The corners of his lips are curled upwards as he gazes into your eyes, and you blink out of your daze when he lets out a quiet chuckle.
"It's okay, really. I'm not hurt." The stranger reassures you, and you bite your bottom lip as you glance down at the wound on your hand. His eyes follow yours, and his mouth drops open slightly when he sees your injury. "Oh no, do you have a bandaid?"
You shake your head, "No. Contrary to popular belief, I'm usually quite careful and don't get hurt often."
The black haired beauty just stares at you in silence for a moment, before looking down at his own hands. You tilt your head at his reaction, only to gasp when his shoulders start to visibly shake from him holding in his laughter.
You reach out and playfully hit his knee with a laugh, completely forgetting that this is a complete stranger you bumped into in the middle of the sidewalk. "Are you laughing at me?!"
He finally lifts his head back up, and there's a bright smile on his face as he nods at you. Your heart jumps at the pretty sight, thinking of how he has a beautiful smile when he responds,
"It's a bit ironic for you to have said that to me, the person you bumped into, which led to you hurting your own hand." He tells you, and you bite your bottom lip to stop yourself from snorting at what he said. Nodding your head, you wave your hand, "Okay, true."
Your eyes fall onto the watch on your wrist, and you blink when you see the time.
