Hello Puppets AU: The show goes on

The arrival of 2 new helpers Pt. 2

While Amra and her dad were going to the art set up where Nick is. Adri and her aunt are going to the Lab set. the lab set had a glass door and the walls were a pastel green color and white. She also noticed that the lab set up was brighter than the other set ups.

Adri looked around "So this is Riley's lab." she said in amazement. She was always into these things. So labs and all of these science items would make her happy.  She about to grab a test tube just to take a closer look but just when she was about to touch it, her aunt tried to stop her from doing so. 

"Wait! Don't touch that!" Gracie scolded her. Adri then apologizes to her aunt and told her that she wanted to look around. "I know you wanted to look around but Riley doesn't like it when people touch her things without asking her" Her aunt replied back to he niece. "Understandable". Adri also finds it weird that she said it that way. 'but i though Aunt Gracie was "Riley". I mean she controls her so...' she wondered to herself.

The both of them noticed that someone was approaching the glass door. It was Riley and her her good boy, Rosco. Riley was carrying a box full of equipment for this episode shoot. Adri decided to run in and help Riley carry the box. "Why thank you, kid" Riley thanked the teen. "No problem Riley". While that Gracie greets Riley and introduces her niece to the red-haired puppet. Adri said hello to the puppet but she was also weirded out. She thought it was strange that the puppet was walking and talking on her own. With no puppeteer at all. But she'll let that slide.

Rosco then notices Adri and ran towards her. He was going to pounce and her but thankfully Riley stopped him in time. "Rosco, Down boy" Riley ordered the big dog "I apologize for his behavior, he does that when there are new members because he's excited." Riley apologizes and further explains. "No worries, I know how dogs are. They get really, really excited about new people." Adri assured her that it's ok.

"I think you'll like her as a helper. plus you and Adri have the same interests" Gracie said to the puppet as she gives her a reassuring look on her face. "I've heard" Riley replied back to her statement. "and it seems like it" Riley continued as she looks at Adri looking around the lab. From the posters displayed on the wall to the lap equipment on the counters, Riley could tell that she was indeed interested in these things just like what her assistant said.

Riley glanced over to the clock on the wall and realizes that it was almost time for her part to be filmed. "Now we have to get this set up done quickly because its almost time for filming!" Riley exclaimed. Adri volunteered to help Riley set up her items on the counters. "I'll help out" Adri offered "Ok, but be real carful, these are very fragile and I don't want them to break" Riley warned the girl. The girl replied by giving a thumbs up just to let Riley know that she understood.

Once it was time, the camera crew came in, then the children came in. As soon the camera crew set their cameras down, Adri stood beside them. Adri then watched the whole filming of the scene. 'The puppets are actually alive, no wonder why their movements are realistic' Adri realizes as she stares at the puppet.

Back at the art set up Nick and Amra were at the set up. Nick was trying to get to know her better by asking questions meanwhile Amra was also getting to know Nick better but she signs out her questions and her answers.

"So I heard that you like to draw and paint. is that right?" Nick asks her for confirmation. She nodded her head yes to that question. 'I also like to listen to some music but I don't have a specific genre of music' she signed out to Nick, Nick understood her. "Are there anymore things you enjoy doing?" Nick Nack asks Amra. 'well other than that, I play the guitar. I also like to sing but I do it secretly, its really bad' she signs out her answer. "Oh don't think like that Amra, I'm assuming its not that bad"

Amra notices that the cameramen are now filming in Riley's lab. She Catches Nick's attention and pointed to Riley's lab with two fingers to show what's happening in Red-haired puppet's lab. Nick glances at a nearby clock and that it was Riley's time. "Oh don't worry I remembered my lines for this." Nick responds to Amra with a calm manner.

A few moments later. Riley was done with her filming and now it's Nick's turn and her dad cam back just in time. When Amra notices that they were done shooting the scene in Riley's lab she turned to nick and sighs out that they're finished with Riley's scene. Nick then tells Amra that when he's they're filming his part she can go and visit Daisy. Amra nodded her head. He also told her to say hello for him when she visits her.

Amra starts to go to Daisy's set up. she came in and waved hello to her. "Oh golly! You must be the new volunteer here." She nods her head.  "Oh that's ok if you don't talk you can sign to us. We puppets understand" Daisy said in a welcoming tone. 'My name is Amra' she signed out to the blonde puppet. "Ahh well its nice to meet you dear. " 'also Nick Nack said hello' Amra signs to Daisy "You must be working with Nick at first" Daisy assumed. Amra gave a thumbs up for that assumption that the puppet made.

A few minutes later, Daisy then notices the camera crew were finished with Nick's shoot. Amra the looked at the same direction as daisy. "It was quite a good interaction with you Amra" Amra smiled and nodded in agreement. they both end their interactions and Amra left the set up and went back to Nick's set up.

"Amra, How was it?" her dad asks about the interaction with Daisy. She sign out saying it was good but short. "Well that's nice" Nick said to the girl. The girl the signed out that she was going to visit her sister. Her father allowed her but Nick decided to come along with Amra. He reattached Nick's body to his legs and they went to Riley's lab where she was located.

Once they got to Riley's lab, Nick and Amra knocked on the door just to let them know their here. "Ahh great..." Riley sighted as she saw Nick, but Adri on the other hand ran over to open the door for them. "Hey sis!" she said as she held both of her hands. "she then whispered to her ear that she's good. "So.. that's your sister." she said while crossing her arms. "Yep, but she's good. she also doesn't talk when she meets new people. maybe just give sometime and she'll talk" Adri confirmed her answer as she explains.

"Well why not you two go to the cafeteria and eat your lunch there, besides its already time" Nick said as he  pointed to the clock in the lab. "oh yeah, well, I'll see ya later then" Adri said then both of the girls left the room. Amra waved them a "see you later" sign to them as she closes the door and left meanwhile the two puppets stayed in the lab.
