Nov 1st, 1984

I woke this morning to my dad waking me up, and not El.

"Wake up, it's time to get ready for school." He told me while he turned on my light.
I sat up and rubbed my eyes.
"I made a triple stack of eggos for breakfast." He explained as he sat on the end of my bed.
"I don't like eggos, and you would know that if you would pay more attention to me then El." I got quiet for the last bit, but still loud enough for him to hear. If you do like Eggos, your weird.
"What are you talking about?" He asked giving her a confused look.
"Ever since El came into our life, you have payed way more attention to her. I know she is like the real life supergirl, but I'm your real daughter she is just a weird girl." I explained while I got out of bed, and walked to my dresser.
"Don't say that about Eleven." He demanded once again taking her side.
"You're even taking her side right now, way to prove my point dad." I said as I picked out my clothes. I picked a green shirt and baggy jeans.
"Get ready for school, then come eat." He told me as he walked out.

Before I got dressed I went to shut my door, and I saw El. She heard it, the conversation.
I shrugged it off, and got dressed and put my shoes on.

As I was walking to the kitchen I stopped when I overheard El's and my dad's conversation. It was about Mike, she is like obsessed with him.

"You visited him again last night?" My dad asked while he licked a plastic butter knife that had whipped cream on it.
"He says he needs me." El informed him.
"Want me to go check on him?" My dad suggested but she mouthed no.
"I know that you miss him, all right? But it's too dangerous. You're the last thing he needs right now. You're gonna see him. Soon. And not just in that head of yours. You're gonna see him in real life. I feel like I'm making
progress with these people." He explained to her emotionless.
"Friends don't lie." Eleven she told him.
"What?"
"You say soon on day 21. You say soon on day 205. You now say soon on day 326?" El reminded him, both of them haven't taken a bite of there food in a while.
"What is this? You're counting the days now
like you're some kind of prisoner?" My dad questioned leaning back.
"When is soon?"
"Soon is when...it's not dangerous anymore."My dad answered fixing his shirt.
"When?" El said siting up straight, and her hands folded.
"I don't know." My dad let her know still fixing his shirt.
"On day 500?" El asked.
"I don't know." My dad answered raising his voice.
"On day 600?" El asked again.
"I don't know." My dad repeated raising his voice more.
"Day 700? On day 800?" El asked slamming on the table.
"No!"
"I need to see him. Tell me!" Eleven insisted getting really mad.
"I said I..." my dad said getting cut off by El, who used her powers making the eggos go all over his shirt.
"Oh! Shit! Shit!"
"Friends don't lie!" El reminded after she stood up.

She speed walked to her room after that. She slammed her door with her powers.

My dad went off to clean his shirt.

I walked up to the front door, so I could leave for school.

I got on my bike, and started heading to school.

I finally made it. I put my bike on the rack.

I didn't wait for my friends today, I just walked in.

I did run into Max, and after I confirmed last night that I like her it was a bit weird.

"Hey!" Max greeted
"Hi." I responded as we started walking with each other.
"Can I asked you something?" Max asked looking at me.
" sure."
"Why does everyone call Will zombie boy?" Max questioned changing her focus to the wall ahead.
"Well last year he got lost in the woods for a week, and everyone thought he was dead." I explained using my hands to help explain.
"I still don't get why they call him zombie boy. I mean, I get it. He got lost in the woods for a week or something, but why is he a zombie? Because everyone thought he was dead?" Max questioned even though I kinda already answered that question.
"Yeah. I mean, we had a funeral for him and everything." I explained to her.
"After a week?"
"Well, see, some other kid drowned at the quarry. We thought it was Will because his body was super decomposed." I informed her making me remember that night, it was crazy.
"What? Okay, that's not funny." Max told me as we stopped walking.
"I'm not laughing. It's kinda public knowledge. You can ask anybody. Except Will, because he is really sensitive about it, alright?." I explained .
"Okay."
