Chapter 1

A demon that's all you are to them. 

Just a disgusting demon that doesn't deserve to exist. 

You thought as a villager attacked you before he even landed a blow on you. He was out cold as he ran into a tree. You giggled a bit as you moved his body to the closet home and walked back to your home. 

Another day of dealing with everyone wanting to kill you.

Villagers kept coming into your home and failing at ending you. You had to deal with a lot of these encounters. 

Why? 

Because you live near a village that was afraid of you. You were a demon. One look at you sends people running away. You did nothing to them, well, nothing that they didn't deserve. Everyone was scared of you and how "vicious" you are. No one ever listened to your side.

 Almost everyone despised you except for a woman.

 Your Mimi, you remember how you met her.

~Flashback~

You were a small (f/c) demon, lost and afraid. You had just run away from other monsters that wanted to devour you. You made your way into a garden for safety. Your stomach growl in hungry, and you see some riped (F/f). You decide to eat only a few because you do not want to cause suspicion. As you ate, you didn't notice someone observing you.

 Hearing a chuckle, you turned to see a tall older lady covering her mouth from laughing. You jumped and were about to make a run for it, but she spoke carefully. 

"Wait, don't you want some more?" 

You turn to face them before carefully nodding. She cut and gave you another (F/f).

You quickly ate it before she had time to give you another (f/f). "pretty hungry, uh?" She asked, "maybe a little," you responded before a growl came from your stomach. You blushed as the lady laughed, "how about a hot meal? The name's Mimi." 

She told you, and you weren't sure what was happening but noticed she was being genuine to you. "My name's (Y/n)." you smiled with stains on your face. That's how you meet your only family in that village.

She took you in hiding, you from other people. She had a hard time hiding you in a busy village. But she did her best, giving you a happy life. Mimi treated you as her child as you stayed with her. You asked her why she was kind to you. 

She said, "I saw a lost child looking for a place to call home. Now you have one with me." When she said that, you felt happiness and a sense of belonging when you stayed with her for two years.

You hoped it remained like this, but news spread fast about you.

 A few villagers spotted you one day outside playing a game of tag with Mimi. They believed Mimi was in danger or possessed by you. That night they mobbed her outside of her cottage. 

They demanded Mimi hand you over to them, but your guardian refused. They gave her one last opportunity to turn you in, but she said, 

"why are you after a child!" She was told, "That thing is a demon spawn! It needs to stop!" You didn't know what was happening as you hid behind Mimi and saw her covering you from stones hurled at you.

After not giving in, they pulled her away from you and beat her as she tried to protect you from the angry mob. You sadly saw her telling you to run before she died at the mob's hands. They accused you of her death that you could have handed yourself in. 

Before the villagers could do anything to you, Your eye glowed (F/c) for the next 10 minutes.

 Everything turned into a blur.
