A house warming party, you were setting it up. Your parents forced you to do this, it was boring and far too exhausting. You were baking with Matthew, making sweets and all sorts of snacks for the party, and making it a bit fun while you did so, messing around, listening to music and such. Individual puddings, small desserts, crepes, snacks like veggie trays and charcuterie trays. Potato salad and macaroni salad since a bunch of older people wanting to cooperate with your business would be there. And a few bags of chips dumped into bowls with a selection of store bought dips put in other different bowls to make them look homemade. Once you and Matthew were done with the majority of it and were just waiting for the cake now, you both sat on the counter thighs touching just waiting on the last minute to disappear.

"How's your life in the human world been so far?" You asked curiously.

"Secluded and boring, I wanted to look around but thanks to Malix, y'know the lame guy who tried to attack us a few nights back, we haven't done anything since seeing you perform!" He sighed.

"I'm kinda glad you guys are here though, I'd be so bored without you." You laughed.

"Yeah, I'm kinda glad too, I was too embarrassed to tell you that your performance was good so I'm glad that I got the second chance." He smiled.

Malix. That night was eventful. Your friends had just left and you were all cleaning up when you heard a commotion in the entrance room. Sam and James were facing two red faced white haired demons which you learned were Devils named Malix and Eris. He threatened the brothers with a gun, but the gun was magic so it didn't work in the house because it was "protected" by magic. Which also left you with questions about your father and also a fear of going to school and leaving the house in general after he threatened your life because the brothers don't leave which means he needed a way to scare them out of the house, which was you.

"You have no reason to be scared, he's a coward little piss devil." Matthew chuckled. "He can't do shit."

"Wow, I would expect that language from everyone except you." You giggled making him flustered.

"Everyone else says worse about devils than I just did so I suppose it came as second nature." He mumbled. "Now I'm embarrassed, I'm sorry."

"Nah, it doesn't bother me, but I'm still a bit scared, it is still a demon compared to a human, whether he's puny or not." You mumbled.

"I'm not saying this to scare you, but if this house wasn't protected with magic, the moment one of us saw Malix I have no doubt he would have been killed in seconds along with Eris." Matthew said. "The incubi that are currently in this house are rather strong, including me, though no one else will ever admit it because I am the smallest and most childish, but devils aren't really a threat to us, we are the princes of the demon lord, which probably sounds fictional as all fuck to you but it's true, which means we pack a bit more of a punch than we look like we do." He chuckled. "I'm glad you didn't know that when you first saw us either, because if I knew that and I had been you I would have been terrified."

"You aren't helping anymore." You laughed awkwardly.

"Right, I should shut up." He laughed pulling the cake out of the oven. "We are done so we should probably go get changed and look presentable for the party."

"Oh right, shit it won't be long before guests start arriving, I still need to shower." You sighed.

"Me too, I'm covered in flour." He said.
