Something was incorrect as the boys went about your day and you went to school. You couldn't tell what it was, something became unsettling about the fact that the voice hadn't attempted to reach you at all.
You noticed abnormalities in school, your bully was worse than normal. The school just didn't feel right. You ended up sitting out back to cool off.
You heard a violin, and intrigued you got up to go find it's source. A black haired boy with abnormal tattoos on his arms was the person playing the violin. You didn't recognize him but his violin skills were amazing, you listened from outside of the room. You had become really distracted, forgetting about the abnormalities in the school and your life as the tempo of the violin picked up in the song he was performing. What snapped you out of it was a message from Matthew on your phone.
"Are you okay? You seemed out of it this morning."
You paused as you read that and you heard the violin slow to an immediate stop. You almost flinched before getting up and making a bolt for the exit. It was blocked however by about three people, there eyes were a bright yellow, reminding you of Matthew's when he is enthralling someone. You flinched at this realization and made your way towards another exit.
"It's useless." All the people around you said. "Surrender, you can't escape." You found a rock in one of the classrooms as you coward back and threw it out the window, quickly crawling through the glass shard infested window, tearing your outfit and cutting your skin. You didn't stop once you were out though, you continued to run all the way back to the mansion, avoiding strangers on the street until you were inside your house.
You collapsed onto the floor, your throat was swollen from improper breathing as you ran, tears had formed in your fear stricken eyes and you were bleeding profusely from multiple cut wounds. You sat on your legs holding yourself at a decent angle with your hands.
"Holy shit!" Matthew shouted running into the room when he saw you, the brothers followed at a slightly slower pace. Matthew held you careful not to grab any of your wounds. You curled up to him and took a few breaths before making out words.
"I think the people at my school were enthralled." You said worriedly.
"......" the demon brothers looked at each other skeptically.
"Alright, I'll say it." Matthew said. "I think your crazy ex fiancée is being a bitch."
"Woah, okay." Erik blinked. "I did not expect that language."
"Matthew, you cannot speak of The princess like that." James sighed.
"Why not?! It's not like you're marrying her or anything! And she's kinda being a royal pain in the ass to her." Matthew rolled his eyes. "I think she's the voice she has been hearing."
"That would make sense." Damien confirmed.
"Then why hasn't she contacted us directly?" James asked.
"Because she knows you won't change your minds." Damien said. "Our safe place currently is with y/n, without y/n, we would be driven out of this house, that would result in us likely ending up in the abyssal plane again, which apparently benefits her."
You were trying to fix your breathing but now you were breaking into coughs. "Humans are really pathetic." Sam said.
"Shut up will you." Matthew hissed. "Of course she'd be a bit bent out of shape, the princess isn't the easiest to deal with."
