Wanted

First Day

There's a new kid in Kendrick High. The boy is in the hallway. He looks lost. A girl approaches him. She looks nice.

Girl: Hi. I'm Chloe. What's your name?

Boy: Um... I'm Jacob.

Chloe: Ok, Jacob? Where's your class?

Jacob: oh I'm supposed to be in biology 101 but...I don't actually...know where it is.

Chloe: That's fine. I'll show you.
Jacob: Thanks ( He spots a boy coming. He has dark spiky hair and smoky blue eyes.)

Chloe: Hey I'll be with you in a second. Just need to drop these  books. ( She goes close to her locker)

The boy approaches and bumps into Jacob. He stops and faces him.

Jacob: Could you please watch where you're going?

Boy: I could say the same for you. Who the hell do you think you are? ( He says hitting Jacob in the chest.)

Jacob: Excuse me?

Chloe comes back looking confused.

Chloe: Jacob I see you've met my friend, Peter.

Jacob: Yeah. Can we go now?

Chloe: Sure let's go.

They leave while Peter looks at Jacob with disgust. They arrive in class. Chloe goes to sit with her friends, Kelly and Ashley.

Teacher: (looks at Jacob) Young man are you new to this school?

Jacob: uh...yeah I am

Teacher: Well introduce yourself to the class and get seated.

Jacob: ok... Good day everyone. I... I'm Jacob Whites. I live at 13 Winston avenue. I...

Teacher: That's enough Jacob. You may take your seat.

Jacob: ( looks around and sees no empty seats) but there are no empty seats Miss...Mrs... Miss...

Teacher: Veronica. There's a seat close to Red over there.

He looks in the direction and sees a red haired girl with bright blue eyes. She looks stunning...and grumpy. He goes over and seats close to her.

Jacob: Hi. You must be Red.

Red: I'm glad you noticed.

Jacob: um...nice to meet you

She looks at him for a while.

Red: Same

The bell goes and they all move to a different class. On her way to class, Red meets Peter, Jason and Edwards. They stop her from moving further. She tries to move but Peter blocks her.

Red: Would you move it!?

Peter: I see you're talking to the new kid.

Red: So?

Peter: What did he say?

Red: What else.

Jason: You know what he means. Spill it.

Red: I don't have time for this.

She pushes him and moves to the class.

Eddie: What's the deal with this new kid, dude?

Peter: I bumped into him

Edward: So?

Peter: When I did...I felt something. Something I haven't felt in a long time.

Edward: Like what?

Jason: Love? ( He says laughing)

Peter: Very funny. (He moves closer) He's not human.

Jason and Edwards moves closer to him.

Jason: Shh. You... think he's like us?

Peter: I don't know about that but we'll find out.

Edward: How?

Peter: Just wait and see, Eddie.

Peter leaves while Jason and Eddie stay back.

Edward: (Attempts to leave but Jason stops him) What's up?

Jason: That guy bumped into Peter.

Edward: So?

Jason: Come on, dude! What if he did it on purpose.

Eddie: What are you saying?

Jason: I'm saying (he moves closer to him) we teach him a lesson.

Eddie:No. It won't be right. Get that idea outta your head. ( He leaves)

Jason: (thinks to himself) I guess I gotta do this myself then.

With that he leaves for class.
