I wonder why words have
an effect on you
I mean actions are better
because they give you a
clue about the intentions
of the one who says I love you
but words, words still have
an effect on you
Is it because of the person who
says them or is it because
of how they
say it?
Is it because we feel
so empty inside and it
just feels right to let
someone fill
in the empty spaces
Is it because
sweet words sit at the
tip of your tongue
whenever you speaks
and the words pleasantly
fill in and coat
the cracks in my
heart?
Man, oh man
I can't help but really
wonder why words
have an effect on you
