The kind of love that
I desire.
One that knows no
boundaries nor
limits to make you
feel wanted and
loved.
One that is so sweet
and kind.
One that wraps your
heart with warmth
and goodness.
One that is safe and
warm, not only on my
bad days but also on the
smooth sailing
and calm days.
One that I can come
home to every single
day regardless of
whatever
happens out there.
Love that lifts me up
during moments of distress
and brokenness. Love
that sustains me in joy
and happiness.
Love that sees through
my flaws, mistakes and
sometimes ugliness.
But the kind of love that
I desire can only be
found in the One
who came to die for me
and my transgressions.
As love was crafted and woven
in Him and shared
through Him, the
kind of love I desire
can only be found
in Him.
