Rosalie smacks Steve on his chest telling him to shut up.

"Wait, a cat?" Lucas walks up next to Dustin looking at him. "Dart ate a cat?"

"No, what? no."

"What are you talking about? He ate Mews?" Steve says confused, Rosalie makes a note to yell at Steve later for telling on Dustin like that.

"Mews? who's mew?" Max asks Rosalie very confused.

"It's Dustin's cat."

"Steve!" Dustin and Rosalie yell at him.

"I knew it! You kept him!"
"No!" no. No, I... No, I.... he missed me. He wanted to come home."
"Bullshit!"

Max who was fed up with the boys arguing spoke up.
"Guys, who cares? We have to go."

"I care! You put the party in jeopardy! you broke the rule of law!"

"You told a Stanger the truth!" Dustin shines the flashlight in Max's face making her scoff.

"A Stanger?"
"You wanted to tell her, too."

The two teens hear a screech in the distance, Rosalie quickly grabs Steve's hand making him tense up at her touch.

"I didn't tell her! We both broke the rule of law, okay? so we're even. we're even."

Steve starts walking towards the sound making Rosa sneak up behind him peeking over his shoulder.

"No, no! We're not even. don't even try that. Your stupid pet could have ate us for dinner!"
"That was not my fault!"

"Guys?"
"so we wasn't gonna eat us? he was just coming to say hi?"

The screeching happened again this time everyone heard it. Steve started walking faster towards the sound, the two boys falling after him leaving Rose and Max.
