Dear Diary,

Today there was a bit of a surprise that happened. Terre had called Angel just before lunch time to let her know of some special news. Of course Angel had to tell me the second she got off the phone.

It turns out that earlier this morning Lin had gone into labor and gave birth to their daughter Mina. From what it sounded like everything went well and Mina is a healthy baby girl which is a relief to hear about.

I can't help but think of how excited the two of them must be. I mean they were already excited about having their own child last time they came over so for their daughter to finally be here they're probably head over heels.

Honestly seeing my friends with their own kids and healthy relationships I still get jealous. Especially since I'm now a single mom raising my daughter in my friend's house, it's a little hard. I mean when Angel and Lin gave birth they were accompanied by their partner. I on the other hand was not.

The night I went into labour with Breeze and Mali, Dakari downright refused to have anything to do with it. He simply walked away and told me to just get done and over with it. So of course I gave birth in our bed all by myself. I also found out that I was pregnant with twins by myself. The only nice thing was Dakari wasn't there to see one of my weakest moments. I'll just say there was a lot of tears.

Putting myself aside I can't help but be happy for Lin and Terre. Of course with Mina now coming along Angel is getting excited for her due date with her second child which is still a few months away. She's really hoping she also has a daughter but we all know she'll be happy even if she has another son.
