The day of the party Melanie picked me up at 2:05 and we got to the beach house by 2:20 before anyone got to the party.
"This house is huge!!" I say when I step into the house. "thanks you should see the pool" Melanie said.
she shows me to the back door . "wow this party will be amazing!!!" "You really think so" "yah this will blow people's minds"
I encourage her that this will be great. "thanks, your an amazing friend. you'll have more friends by the end off this party"
The door bell rings and we went to open the door and the first person I saw was the guy Melanie said was checking me out.
"Oh hey Jacob I didn't expect you to be the first person to arrive" Melanie says
"Yah whatever you know I wouldn't miss this for the world.who's your friend though" he looks at me and our eyes lock.
his eyes are the color of the clear blue ocean and it feels like you could drown in them simply by starring at them.
His hair is a dirty blond that's short but not to short. He's wearing a natica shirt and some trousers. He looks like someone I knew when I was young.
" Her name is Rosie ,now mingle " she says while she walks away with a smirk on her face. "Hi my name is Jacob" he says "hi" I say nervously.
"How long have you known Melanie" he asked while walking and sitting on the couch "only a week" I say going to sit down next to him.
"And you?" I ask so the conversation keeps going "since freshmen year. I kind of dated her at the beginning of the year but broke ip and decided to just be friends."
"Oh" was all I could say after "does your last name happen to be Alonso?" "Yah" I said awkwardly.
WHAT THE HELL!!! Who is this guy? How does he know my last name?
"Can I ask you a question?" He says "sure" I said nervously " you might think its crazy but......never mind I'll tell you later"
With that he gets up and heads outside. guess I won't know till later. whatever that means.

We're outside in the back stuffing our faces with barbecue and cake.
Then we light sparklers and we light up the night. I soon see Jacob head my way. Uhh what do I do what do I do? Soon he's right there in front of me.
" Do you remember me? He ask with a certain strain to his voice. "ummm Jacob I think you have the wrong person I don't know you"
"No! please say you do" "but I don't" I say frustrated." I've never seen you in my life" his jaw clenches with anger.
I don't even know what I did to upset this dude but is making me mad as well. "I have to tell you somthing" he pulls my arm HARD and forces me to follow him.
"Let go of me" I shout when w get inside the house " not till I tell you what I need to"
He pulls me up the stairs and into a room. then locks it and opens a pair of double doors that leads to a balcony.
When he leans on the balcony with an upset face I have sympathy for him and I go stand next to him.
" Rose I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you it just frustrates me that you dont remember" "wait did you just call me Rose? No one calls me that"
He takes a deep breath in and takes a deep breath out. "Rosie when you where 6 who protected you from bullies that made fun of you"
" Why should I tell you I've never gotten bullied before" that was a lie it just was wired how he knew. "answer honestly Rosie"
"Fine a kid named Jacob something. I can't remember his last name"
I meet his eyes and they give me the same feeling I did when I looked at my chiles hood friend Jacob.
WAIT!!!! I gasp "JACOB!!!!" I trow myself on him and give him a huge hug. I used to cry every day when he had left. I still remember that day.
( "do you have to go" "yes I'm moving to a place called Denver . you can come with me." "I can't my family is here" "ill miss you" "I'll miss you too" and with that he is gone.)
"I didn't even notice that was you" I say happy to find my old long lost friend.
" I know but when I saw you at school I noticed you easily and I wanted to tell you but I knew that I should wait
" But you do know that my last name is Anderson right?" he says with a smile "pshh yah I how could I forget" I say turning away from his face blushing like a tomatoe.
he laughs a warm laugh that reminds me of when we where kids and played together everyday and we where one.
"Let's head down to the party before people wonder where we are." he says and we walk down the stairs together again.
