"Hey sweetie I'm picking you up at around 3:00 ok." " Alright mom how was Sarah's soccer game?" "Good she scored a goal"
"Tell her I said good job" "ok sweetie I will. See you in a bit." "ok bye love you" "love you too" with that I hang up the call.
"I'm bored" Melanie says. "Me too,what should we do?" I ask " we should play chicken." Brian says.
"I'm tired of the pool. we where in there for hours yesterday." replies Melanie.
Once we came back from I hop we decided to just hang. that got old quick. " Then let's play hide and seek at the park" Elizabeth said.
"That's so childish." Brian said "so,your childish" Melanie retorts back at him.
"No you are" "no you are" back and forth back and forth. then Brian gets up,grabs Melanie, and throughs her over his shoulder.
"Help!!! He's a rapist!! Someone help!!!" She screamed and laughed while banging on his back.
" If you haven't notice Melanie and Brian have a thing going on,but of course they won't admit it" Jacob whispers to me.
Soon enough Brian throws Melanie on the couch causing Jennifer to fall off.
Everyone laughs." that hurt you bastered" Melanie giggles. sure doesn't seem like it.
"ok we can go to the park now" Brian says and with that we are on our way.

When we reach the park we decide that one of the park benches is base and the rest of the area is room to play.
"1,2,3.... 27,28,29,30!!!! Ready or not here I come!!" Shouts Elizabeth.
She moves away from the bench near the tree I was standing behind and walks towed the other side. the one with Jacob and Brian.
I make a run for it. my feet hit the ground with barley any sound. I used to do track so this game will be easy.
I reach the bench and wait. A couple of minutes pass and then comes Jennier.
Then Jacob. We all sit on the bench. We all take up the space and there is ABSOLUTELY no more room for anyone else to sit.
"MOVE,MOVE,MOVE!!!!" Brian shout while running strait towards us. We're to late to react.
On his trail is Elizabeth. THe lands on top of everyone and we all push him off.
"I touched the base." he says."no you didn't"Elizabeth says "yes I did".
"dont sweat it man I'll be it for you" Jacob volunteers. "thanks bro" Brian says and they do this weird bro hug.
Then Jacob starts to count and everyone scatters. I run and run until I find the beach where a podium is at.
I admire the beauty of the water. the way it sparkles and the way it's so clear.
"Got you" a voice all to familiar says. soon I'm lifted off the ground and carried around in circles.
"Put me down" I laugh "say the magic word" "NOW!!" "No that's not it" "please" I say in a sing song voice.
He chuckles and puts me down. "thank you" I say while fixing my shirt. I look up and he starring at me with the same look on the balcony.
"Why are you looking at me like that" " Because your to beautiful not to"
he says with a kind voice while looking at me with kind eyes. Wait did he just say I'm beautiful? I look up at him and blush.
Butterfly's start to form in my stomach. That's not supposed to happen."sorry what?" I say "Rose your beautiful in every way"
I open my mouth but I get interrupted "wait I'm not done. Rose you make my life whole. when I left there always felt like there was a hole in my chest and when suddenly you come back I felt whole.
I never want that to change. EVER. so will you do me the honers and be my girlfriend"
He says with a questioning look. Wow! "let me think about it for a couple of days,ok?" "Ok" he didn't seem the least disappointment. he understands.

I stand near my window looking out into the ocean. the way it just goes with the flow.
The words Jacob said still replay in my head. Ever since I was little Jacob was there.
He protected me from bullies. He helped me feel happy when my dog had died. Jacob has done so much.
NO!!! I shout in my head. when I met Trent in high school it was easy for me to stop thinking about Jacob.
I thought I finally found someone who was perfect for me. I guess not.
When I'm with Jacob he makes me feel safe,calm. he makes me get butterfly's in my stomach and makes me not think strait.
I think the whole reason it was hard to get over him was because I loved him.

I close the window and run down the stairs then stop. Wait I don't even know where he lives.
I can tell him later I go back up stairs hop on my bed and text him if we can meet up tomorrow.
He texts back saying sure and tells me where we can meet up. I walk down stairs and walk up to my mom who is cooking in the kitchen.
"I have a big surprise for you tomorrow. you're going to be so shocked." I say with a smile.
"Yay a present!!" My mom says jumping up and down. suddenly my eyes droop down and I'm hit with tiredness.
When did I become so sleepy. my mom notices and says"go take a nap. dinner won't be ready in another hour"
With that I go up stairs and lay on my bed and imagine how I'm going to tell him. Then sleep takes me away.
