I park the car and take the key out of the ignition. I take a deep breath and let it out.
I've loved Rose since the day I saw her. Even when we where kids I felt this tug towards her.
I get out of my truck and lock it right when a white lexis comes and parks next to my red Toyota truck.
Rose walks out of the car with a beautiful smile on her face. she walks gracefully in front of me.
She stats to say something but all I can focus on is her red plump lips moving and how much I want to kiss them.
"So...you ready." she says and she snaps me out of my trance. "ready for what" I reply confused. I should have been listening.
"To go for a didn't you just hear what I said." she says her mile big. "Not really" I mumble that makes her smile more.
She turns on her heals and starts to walk and I follow behind her.
When we've walked for a couple of minutes in comfortable silence she sits on a bench and I sit next to her.
"What was it you wanted to tell me?" "Well... I've been thinking about what you said about being your girlfriend and I'm going to say yes!!" She says her smile becoming even bigger.
I have to think for a second but my eyes widen with realization. If I heard this right she just said yes and we are officially a couple.
I look her in the eyes and I see a twinkle of.... well I don't know what it is,but it's nice to see it there.
Then I scope her up into my arms bridal style and twirl her around and around and she giggles and laughs till I put her down.
"Thank you" i say . she looks up her smile faltering "for what" she ask with a confused and questioning look "making me the happiest guy in the world" I say.
her smile returns and we walk hand in hand back to our cars.

As I follow the white lexis in front of me I can't help but get nervous.
Yes I know that I have known Mrs.Alonso for quit some time but does she approve of me.
As I park my truck into the driveway I can't help but be nervous and excited at the same time.
I get out the truck at the same time Rose gets out of her car.
She turns to me and gives me one of her award winning smiles.
We both walk up to the door she turns to me and says "are you sure your ok with this" "yah anything for my girl" I say.
"Wow you are so CHESSY!" She explains. I smile and she turns back to the door and knocks.
The door opens and there is the one and only.... uh oh. I was expecting to see the one and only Mrs.Alonso but to my shock it's Mr.Alonso. My smile drops when realization hits me.
This won't be good. I gulp and take a deep breath."high daddy" Rose says and gives her dad a hug.
"Whose the boy that's next to you. I thought I specifically said NO BOYS!!!"
"Daddy calm down I will explain it over dinner. Oh and I happily invited this young gentlemen to eat dinner with us."
She says while grabbing my hand and dragging me inside. I look at her dad and his nose flares.
WOW!! That man is intimidating and sure is scaring the crap out of me.
"Hi sweetie" I hear a women say. I turn away from Mr.Alonso's stare and see a women around 45 even though she looks 37.
