Hope and Mercy are asleep in there bedroom. when they hear there older sister talking to someone in the hallway. they ended up falling back asleep not that long after hearing there sister talking to someone.

Elena opens the front door. Stefan and Damon are standing on the front porch.
Hey. Uh, can we talk?
Why?
We went to see Katherine.
Come on in.
Elena steps aside and Stefan and Damon enter the house.
Elena, Damon, and Stefan stand around the island in the kitchen, talking.
while Hope and Mercy are in there playpen playing with some of there toys. While the doppelgänger and the two Salvatore vampires were talking

No, of course not. We just want the moonstone.
According to Rose's friend Slater, there's a way to destroy the spell that Klaus wants to break.

Damon: Well, what he means to say is, we will pry it from her cold, dead hand if we have to.
Bonnie just needs to find a way to release the seal long enough for us to get in, get the moonstone, and get out in time for her to return it.
Wow. I mean, it sounds like you guys already have it all planned out.
Yep. We're awesome.
Except for one thing. I don't want you to do it.
Stefan and Damon exchange looks.
What are you talking about? Elena, we don't have a choice.

Elena gets up and leaves the room. Stefan and Damon exchange a look again.

Salvatore Boarding House
In the parlor, Bonnie speaks to Stefan, Jeremy, and Damon about their plan. while the twins were sitting in the living room playing with there toy, that the Salvtore brother had gotten for the two of them.
I might be able to lower the tomb spell long enough for you to get in there and grab the moonstone from Katherine.
How? It took both you and your Grams last time, and look what happened to her.
I'm well aware of what happened. I've learned a few new things.
Bonnie...
Bonnie deflects Jeremy's concern and looks over at Stefan.
How will you get it?
She hasn't been feeding. She's weaker. We're not.
Damon raises a glass of blood towards Bonnie.
You wouldn't be underestimating her, would you?
It's a plan. Is it perfect? [scoffs] What plan is?
Let me do it. I've got my ring. I can get in, get out, no spells necessary.
Gee, thanks, you 16-year-old child. Why didn't we think about that? Why are you even here?
be nice Dams the twins spoke in unison witch both vampire were able to hear. Stefan had to bite his lip to stop himself from laughing at his older brother, being scolded by two toddlers.
while Damon had to take a deep breath to stop himself from snaping Stefan neck in front of the twins, since the twins may of scolded him but its his brother whos is making the twins think it okay to do what they just did.
after a few deep breath they got back on track to what they were talking about before the twins had interrupted them.
Maybe I can help better the plan. Do you have anything that belongs to Katherine?
Damon looks over at Stefan, significantly.
Stefan re-enters the parlor room where Bonnie, Jeremy, and Damon wait for him. He has the Hope and Mercy in his arms while Mercy is holding a picture of Katherine in her hands.
This belonged to Katherine. Found it with her things after I thought she was dead, but it was hers.
Stefan holds out the portrait of Katherine and Bonnie takes it. Bonnie places the portrait in a ceramic bowl. She dips her fingers in a glass of water and lets the water droplets drip from her fingertips into the bowl. Flames sprout from the bowl. Bonnie shuts her eyes and begins to chant a spell in Latin.
What will this do?
Bonnie opens her eyes, watching the picture burn.
I can turn the metal into ash. Blow the ashes on her, and it'll incapacitate her for a minute or two. Long enough for you to get the stone and get out.
Suddenly, Bonnie's nose starts to bleed. Bonnie raises her hand to her nose and wipes it away before anyone notices.
Stefan ended up putting the twins back in the living room after Bonnie had made the ash's, since he didn't want Hope and Mercy playing with the ash's
Bonnie pours the ashes from the bowl onto an end table. Stefan and Damon re-enter the room with supplies for the excursion.
Still gotta get the torches.
Alaric's stake gun's in my trunk. Bonnie?
Go ahead. I'm almost done.

before Bonnie went to the tomb she went to the Gilbert house to drop the twins off with Jenna. since non of them wanted the twins to get hurt when they try to get the moonstone from the vampire doppelgänger.

Stefan ended up getting trapped in the tomb with the vampire doppelgänger.
