the assembly remained silent. Nobody knew how to react to this quite unusual situation. They just looked at each other and started whispering things.

Taehyung was standing there in front of all those people who...didn't even recognize him.

Jungkook stroked his hand and smiled softly giving him some strength. He took a deep breath and despite being petrified, he walked proudly, his head held high towards his father in law who was as lost as all the guests.

Jimin held yoongi's hand tight with his heart pounding.

Taehyung reached the old king, gently bowed and glared at him.

Tae: Father.

He looked at him with wide eyes.

King: Taeyeon.. are you.. what is this outfit?!

Tae: It's just me highness.. me.. he says on the verge of tears.

King: Ahh.. my my blood pressure.. my.. aigo. he said holding his neck.

Namjoon held him to prevent him from falling.

Jungkook approached them and said in a low voice:

JK: I'll take care of them with Jin and the others. Go talk.

Taehyung nodded and started walking towards the king's office. he held his chest feeling his heart beating faster and faster..
he arrived in the office first followed by the king who entered with a great noise.

He was quiet furious.

NJ: Father.

King: SHUT UP NAMJOON! He yelled and turned to Taehyung who was starting to shake.

King: How dare you show up here after being gone for an entire year?! aren't you ashamed?!

Taehyung held back tears and clenched his fists. Namjoon couldn't do anything to help him. he had to do it himself.. get out of this situation.

King: What kind of queen leaves, leaving her king and her people behind?! AND, what have you done with your hair?! what happened to you?! GOD!

Taehyung closed his eyes for a second to gather all the courage he had and finally confront him.

Tae: I can't be a queen.

King: .. what?? Taeyeon. you..

Tae: It's not Taeyeon ...your majesty.

A silence fell over them for a moment. Namjoon looked at Tae and decided to walk out.

King: What are you talking about again?

Tae: Do you really not recognize me? however, I was always told that I looked a lot like my father.

King: ......your father?
