Ezran's POV:

I love my wife.

She is everything that is good and warm in this world.

And the most caring woman ever.

The way she cared for the estate and the positive results of her taking charge as the lady of the house was evident when we got back home to Aisenburg Manor.

I was expecting a pile of correspondence and paperwork waiting for me but.

I only found a small pile by my desk and they were documents that truly needed my signature and attention.

"Lady Alaina took care of everything else, Your Grace and delegated everything perfectly to the staff or to your secretary and accountant." Milford beamed with pride when I looked to him for questions.

Everywhere I saw the effects of my wife's hardwork.

The servants looked more lively, the man servants were more energetic and the knight's performance have all improved due to their anticipation for the monthly snacks.

Everywhere I asked. They said one thing.

That my wife is the best.

She is a competent duchess. The best lady one can ever ask for.

She works with the head servants diligently to streamline the work the staff does.

She even knows everyone by name. Even to the last gardener. Everyone greets her and she has a ready smile or hand wave for them.

The kitchen also makes meals according to the duchess' advice along with the head chef's creative direction.

As a result, the food they have eaten has given them a lot of energy and they look forward to working hard and eating their delicious meals.

It was astounding.

While my wife started hosting small parties to facilitate her growing popularity among the ton.

I studied the changes she made to the household and I was astonished at the care she took in planning menus for everyone.

Even the servants and knights.

The meals consists of what seems to be portioned amounts of greens or fruit, protein and bread. Even a simple sweet like a cookie, pudding or sweet bread is added.

Her "meal set system" is also an effective way to swap items or dishes to create an infinite amount of food combinations.

And the diversity means no one gets bored of the food and choices are tasty.

It was shown to make servants sated and happy. Happy servants are more likely to work even better and harder than starved ones.

She even applied the same method to the knight's monthly reward.

Even Pierce and my other male staff acknowledge that my wife is an incredible woman.

If she were a man. We would have been rivals and my equal.

I chuckled as I stood over the west side of my window where I see my wife holding her party by the West Garden Pavillion.

Ever since we got back, She has busied herself with hosting a number of event just to fulfill her city as a lady of society.

But she did not half heartedly planned it.

The decorations, food, tables and chairs...even the entertainment was all planned meticulously.

From the looks of the laughter and giggles of the ladies, it must be a success.

My wife had me sample the tasting menu a few days back, a new concept of giving tidbits of dessert or food to people. If they love anything they sampled, they can place an order and a bigger version of the food will be served to them.
