Alivia Wilsdorf was part of one of the wealthiest, most famous, pureblood families. Her family worked alongside the Malfoys at the ministry and were part of the death eaters. Since Voldemort's return, Alivia hopes she doesn't have to follow in her family's footsteps.

Alivia walked to DADA and was instantly faced with Professor Umbridge, the new professor. She took her seat at a desk and pulled out her notebooks and quills. Just by looking at Umbridge and the way she talks, she could tell that she was going to find this year extremely miserable.

Soon everyone had entered the classroom. Umbridge stood at the front of the class and opened her mouth to speak.

"Welcome, to Defence Against the Dark Arts," She said in her sickening voice "I am your new professor."

Umbridge summoned the stack of books on her desk in front of her and waved her wand so they would settle on each person's desk.

As Alivia opened her book she noticed that there was certainly nothing about using spells in the book. As she turned to look back up she saw Hermione put her hand up to speak.

"Excuse me, professor, but there is no mention in these books about using defensive spells?"

"Oh," Umbridge laughed "But I see that there is no reason to defend yourselves against someone, who would want to hurt children like you?"

"Hm, I don't know" Harry scoffed "Maybe Lord Voldemort!"

Everyone froze in their seats as soon as he said that.

"Why would he say that" Alivia heard someone whisper

Umbridge turned sharply towards Harry.

"Now, let me tell you" She very dangerously spoke "You have all been told that a dark, powerful, wizard has returned"

She walked along the desks as she explained.

"This is, a lie" She finished

"No, it's not!" Harry exclaimed, "I saw him, I fought him!"

"Do not raise your voice, Mr Potter" She snapped "The ministry has made it very clear that-

"Ok, so according to you Cedric Diggory dropped dead of his own accord?" He shouted

"The death of Cedric Diggory was a terrible accident," She said

Alivia had no idea as to why she did what she did next but she raised her hand.
