I've been staying at home since the beginning of the summer holidays, completely and utterly bored out of my mind. Drowning in my thoughts, I'm suddenly snapped back into reality as there's a clicking sound at my window. Getting up from the spot, I open up the window and notice a familiar, snowy owl.

Hedwig.

"Oh, hello Hedwig!" I coo to the owl, as she sticks the letter attached to her for me. I grab it and softly stroke her feathers.

Hey Y/n!

Did you want come over for the rest of the holidays? I've asked my Mum and Dad and they've asked the other appropriate adults and they think it's a wonderful idea! Oh and If you're wondering how I've managed to use Hedwig to deliver this letter, well my family and I, plus Hermione and Harry, have been told to stay at this massive house called something like Grimmauld Place. You'll be explained more if you do decide to come over, which hopefully you do!

P.S.- Just found out it's No.12 Grimmauld Place!

How could I ever say no to spending the rest of the holidays in such a fun way? Wasting no time I rushed downstairs alerted my mum and begged for her to allow me to go. She agreed that it would be fine, but just to make sure to stay safe. I again wasted no time and packed my bags, getting ready to leave in the next few hours.

A sudden knock at the door sounded through the house, my mum going to answer it. "Y/n, Remus is here for you!" I squealed to myself, excited to see my friends again. "Ah, there she is"

I grinned at Remus, and then I turned to my mum and gave her a massive hug. She kissed the top of my head, before whispering to me, "Stay safe and out of as much trouble as possible please" I nodded my head softly and let go. Clutching onto Remu's arm, before almost immediately finding myself in the dark living room of No.12 Grimmauld Place.

"Well, I've been informed that you'll be sharing a room with Ginny and Hermione, as a request from both girls," Remus spoke, leading me up the stairs, eventually getting to the 2nd floor. "The door is the 3rd one from the back window. they're probably still up I'd imagine"

I smiled a thank you to Remus and made my way to the room, only to find it empty. Frowning, I  placed my stuff down and had a good look at the room. There were 3 single beds, 2 of them already having a few teddies and clothes lying on them as they had already been occupied by Hermione and Ginny.

"Y/N!"

The familiar voice of Ginny squealed just before her familiar scent engulfed me as she wrapped her arms around my torso. I giggled as I hugged her back. Taking a step back we both admired each other, realising how much we'd both matured.
