The quiet background noise of the shower had lulled Samantha into a light slumber. Her face was smudged against the drawing she had started to work on, the ink probably leaving dark smears streaked on the side of her face. It looked like an uncomfortable position to be in, but she didn't seem to mind as she slept peacefully. Her dog, who had been referred to as Charlie occupied a space next her. His large eyes opened and blinked up at Peter when he entered the room. Samantha slept on, unbothered by Peter's presence as he stared at her motionless form on the bed. He felt like he was intruding on something personal and shouldn't be here. Why did he even feel this way in the first place? Caring about Samantha's comfort level should be the least of his priorities. Even so, Peter was no stranger to having a lack of privacy. He had grown up being under surveillance every hour of every day since he was 12 years old.

He had just gotten out of the shower and had every intention of waking her up, but something made him hesitate. She looked so peaceful and it almost felt like a crime to wake her. But he was in a rather dire situation. Before getting into the shower he had made a mistake, which was not asking for new clothes. So now he was half-naked with a towel wrapped around his waist. It was an unfortunate predicament to be it, especially since the cold air of the house was seeping into his still partially wet skin.

Standing by the doorway, he called out her name in an effort to wake her up, but she didn't stir. Deciding to make this easier for himself, he flicked his wrist and shook the sketchbook she was under slightly using his telekinesis. Charlie whimpered in response to his powers, and scrambled off of the bed. He narrowed his eyes at the dog, watching as it cowered in the corner of the room. He never did like animals all that much.

"Samantha," he said again when she started to wake up. She opened her eyes blearily and blinked at him, not quite registering he was there. "Sorry to wake you, but I need some clothes."

Samantha thought she might be dreaming when she opened her eyes to see Peter in her doorway wearing nothing but a towel, his skin glistening with dew from the shower. She blinked at him and just stared, her mind was completely empty. Damn, she had to be dreaming.

She finally registered he was saying something to her, catching a few of the words. Something about clothes. "Am I dreaming?" She said, sitting up further a slightly dazed expression on her face.

His eyebrows shot up in surprise. "No, you're definitely not dreaming-" He stepped further into the room, readjusting the towel around his waist with one hand. The corner of his mouth upturned. "Would you like this to be a dream?"

She sat up further suddenly as if registering his words for the first time. OH, this was very much real then. "Oh my god," she groaned, her face flooding with red. She covered her face with her hands, peaking at him through her fingers. He was very much still there, staring at her with an amused expression on his face. Her eyes traveled down from his face down to the towel hanging lowly on his hips. Her brain must have short circuited because the only thought running through her brain right now was 'abs.' Damn, he had a really nice body.

"It's not polite to stare, you know?"

Flustered, her eyes shot back up to meet his mesmerizing blue ones that seemed darker and stormier than they had before. "Sorry, sorry." Samantha took a deep breath. "What was it you needed?"

Looking down and gesturing to his body, he said, "Well, I thought it was quite obvious? You forgot to give me some clothes to wear."
"OH- right." She stood up shakily, feeling slightly unsteady as she stepped toward him. Her face was bright red. "Well, just uh- follow me."
