"Deny the Truth"
The truth is someone often avoided, and constantly forgotten.
When she walks down the hallways, she meets eyes with each person she passes, but they always redirect their gaze elsewhere.
So she's instead been conditioned to walk with her head down low, staring at the ground in shame, rather than holding her head up in pride.
Her whole life she's never been picked first. She always comes in second to lying.
Lying was the most admired. The most idolized.
She was the most convenient, and the most advantageous.
Of course they picked her instead.
Lying was everything truth was not, and everytime truth passed her in the halls, she always had an expression of superiority across her face.
She always won.
So truth waits for the day when she'll walk down the halls, head low, and gaze on the ground, and she'll run into someone.
Her belongings will scatter across the ground, and she'll kneel to collect them, without raising her gaze.
But that someone will kneel with her, and instead of walking by her to join lying, they'll take truth's chin in their hands, and raise her eyes to theirs.
And in that moment, truth will no longer be forgotten.
Instead, she'll be chosen.
