Mentions of blood and semi-illegal activity
____________________________________By all accounts, Izuku would not be seeing this display if he stayed home. He would not be seeing this if he had decided to not visit Shinso. In all honesty, they both wouldn't be having this conversation if they both lived normal mid-class family lives. Regardless, this was happening.
Izuku opened Shinso's bedroom door to see him crawling through the window clutching his side which seemed to be darkening with blood.
He appeared to be wearing a grey beanie, black hoodie, athletic pants, and footwear along with a surgical mask and gloves. The only bits of skin visable where his ears, around his eyes, and the rip along the boy's side detailing his injury.
"What happened to you?!" Izuku shouted.
Shinso gave him a supposedly tired look before completely collapsing. Izuku rushed over before he could hit the floor. "Woah, big guy."
Shinso gave a pained huff and Izuku looked him up and down. "Okay. Let's get you patched up."
Izuku maneuvered Shinso to the floor and pulled up his hoodie and the shirt beneath it. He gave a poorly hidden wince at the wound. He had a slice in his side.
"Okay. Thankfully, it isn't deep." He stood up and rushed to the bathroom to grab the first aid kit. When he got back, Shinso was trying to sit up. Izuku pushed him back down. "You need to stay still."
"You don't need to do this. I-" Shinso started to protest.
Izuku glared at him. "Shut up." Shinso obeyed. "Okay. This is going to hurt." Shinso nodded and tried to stay still.
Izuku rummaged around in the box and pulled out the disinfectant spray, the Quikseal healing cream, and the Stitch Stickers. He had Shinso brace before using the spray and the cream and quickly stuck and tightened the stickers before letting out a deep breath.
He leaned back against the bed and tilted his head towards Shinso, who was still laying on the floor. "Care to notify me before you do that again?"
"Sorry. Didn't know you'd be here."
"Are you going to tell me what happened?"
Shinso let out a sigh. "I was walking back home from work when I heard a skuffle coming from an alleyway. It was a mugging. The guy had a knife. I stepped in before he could stab the other guy. He ended up knicking me before I grabbed hold and sent him to the police station."
"Does stuff like this happen often?" Izuku asked gesturing to Shinso's wound.
"Not very often. No."
They sat in silence for a while. Eventually, Izuku sat up. "I'm going to grab you some pain killers. Stay here."
"Alright."
Izuku had to dig for the medication. When he came back, Shinso was still on the floor, very much awake. He handed the pills to Shinso and started cleaning up the mess he made.
"I think we both need a break. Don't you?" He asked to the floor-ridden boy next to him.
"Yeah"
Izuku grabbed the pillows and blankets off of the bed and made both of the comfy. He grabbed his phone out of his pocket and plugged it into the extension cord peaking through the door. Then, he threw the phone onto Shinso's lap.
"Pick something to watch."
"Oh, um....ok"
They ended up watching the first Captain America movie.
